Great quality and value. This is made of plastic and snaps together. Assembled it is stronger than most of the metal boxes. No sharp edges and only 14 screws. The assembly instructions are not packed in the box but are easy to download. I recommend reading the 24 pages before you start. It goes together easy but it's a pain to take apart because you missed something or put the front on the back which won't work.

Thankfully my husband can put anything together so we easily put this together. We velcro a rechargeable motion light inside the lid, added heavy weight to the compartment below the bottom self and added a padlock. Only issue we had was a pair of shoes was delivered but would not bypass by the anti theft shelf so we disconnected that shelf. It's actually not needed as the main shelf comes up when the lid is open blocking any thieves. You need to make a big sign telling delivery persons to lift lid, drop package, otherwise they see the padlock and just put packages on the ground in front of the drop box not understand how the drop box works.

Assembly instructions are pretty good, I decided to bolt mine down for more security. I purchased extra signs "please leave Packages in Drop Box"
Problem is getting the delivery people to use the drop box! Even Amazon delivers can't read the signs

I was a little nervous about putting this together based on the reviews. The directions are step by step and are extremely accurate. If something isn’t matching or making sense, you probably have the wrong part or positioned wrong. This took me maybe 45 minutes to put together and the only difficult part was the lid. It is easier to put it on by attaching the middle piece first. If you have someone helping you it shouldn’t be a problem, but if not it’s hard to hold the piece steady and in alignment AND push the lock through. Other than that each step was simple and clearly pictured. All parts are clearly labeled. So unless you skip steps or try to do things how you think they work, it is easy to put together. Also the moving plates are plastic too not metal

I appreciate that there’s a hidden section at the bottom for you to fill with sand or stones to weigh it down. Mean you don’t have to bolt it to the ground (which is also an option)
It would be nice if the door had a little click or something to keep it closed without a pad lock on it.
Once you have a padlock on it stays perfectly closed.
I’ve had no issues so far.
FYI if you’re getting it shipped to Ireland. I had to pay customs on it which I was not expecting

I am very happy to have bought this. I added a note to my window with to instruct putting deliveries in the box and the delivery people are very good as they follow the instructions... some too well. I ordered a food delivery and the person put it in the box - DOH! 😂 Luckily there was no liquids.
I have updated my instructions to only put none food deliveries in the box.

Understand that this parcel box is made from plastic, so it's not intended to withstand heavy blows, etc. You also have to either bolt it to the ground, or, fill the bottom with sand, gravel or bricks to hold it down and make it heavy enough so it can't be carried, or blown, away. Now if the delivery people could just figure out that the parcels go in the box.
