Cristopher Guerrero: Lo compré en promoción y no me arrepiento. El café se mantiene caliente durante algunas horas. Bastante fácil de usar y limpiar. El acabado texturizado se siente bien al tacto y en lo personal se ve bien. Tiene un par de mallas de repuesto qué son bienvenidas.

Ireri Guzman: Pros:
- Resistente. Al ser de metal es muy difícil que la rompas. Llevo tres de cristal en un año, esperemos esta nos dure mucho más de un año.
- Calidad. Se siente muy bien hecha, de buena calidad, además es muy bonita.
- Funcionalidad. Además de hacer café, como era de esperarse, mantiene la temperatura por bastante tiempo, y por fuera no se calienta, por lo que el riesgo de quemarte es mínimo.

Contras:
- Peso. Es pesada, al ser de acero y estar aislada, lo cual puede ser un problema para personas mayores, o con movilidad limitada.

Carlos Alberto Trejo GonzálezCarlos Alberto Trejo González: Vi comentarios negativos de que se empieza a despintar a la semana, y si ocurrió pero solo algunas partes de la base y me ocurrió al mes de uso diario realmente no hay de que preocuparse ya que tengo 4 meses de uso continuo y no ha avanzado, ademas al principio estaba preocupado porque el sabor cambiara ya que era la primera vez que compraba una prensa de acero inoxidable y pensé que el sabor ser viera afectado pero la verdad es que no, ademas la doble pared ayuda a conservar por mas tiempo la temperatura.

R. Shannon: I love this one. I actually use it to make green tea every morning, and so far, after about 3 weeks, the tea is not staining it like it did my previous ones. Also it retains the heat well, though t not as well as I would have thought it might. It is not much better with that then my last glass one. Nonetheless I am very happy with the quality, and at age 72 I hope this will be my last one ever. haha.

We all have had our share of broken glass French Press vessels over the years. When my cat jumped up on the table and knocked my latest one to the floor a few weeks ago I knew it was time to search for a new one. I found many similar to this one, so making the choice came down to price and color choices.

Amazon Customer: I paid ~$22 for this French press so I'd have something to take to work. At home, I use an Espro.

The press looks alright; I've actually received compliments about the style. Mine is quite a bit shinier than the pictures, but it's not gaudy. It's decently heavy, too, but the heft belies its lackluster quality.

They say this thing is "insulated," but the lid has no seal and sits very loosely on top, so the heat escapes very quickly. If you don't down your coffee in half an hour, it will be tepid.

The filter is the cheap mesh that lets a high volume of silt through-even if you have a decent grinder and use a very coarse setting, the last few sips will be bitter and slightly grainy.

All in all, a resounding "meh." It's a low-end press, and you should absolutely wait for a deep sale before you consider buying. I would recommend saving up a little more and investing in something higher quality.

Snowplow: Fragile paint is probably why it was heavily discounted. Gonna return Sir Chipsalot here and get the all-stainless version for a bit more.

Otherwise the carafe & press work well and my coffee tasted great. Their recommendation of a rounded tablespoon per 4 ounces water was way too strong for my taste. What worked best for me was, per 10-ounce cup, a single HEAPING tablespoon of medium-strength, medium ground coffee & a 4 minute steep time.
