S Griffin: First, I’ve tried Jack Black, Golden, Shea Moisturizer for Men, and countless others for keeping my bread/facial hair groomed and presentable. Some were ok (not the best) while others left me either too greasy or completely dry as the day progressed. As a black man, I don’t want my beard/facial hair looking wired, dry, and ungroomed at any point of the day.

Saw adds for these products in social media and glad I opted to try. Received this earlier this AM and couldn’t wait to try.

Pleasant feel. Not greasy. Smooth. Refreshing. Looking forward to how it holds up throughout the day at the office. Do intend to order the facial wash, scrub, and moisturizer, too.

Major plus this is a black owned company and am looking forward to telling my dad, brothers, and close friends about this!

JR: I'll start by saying that if you asked ten different beards their favorite beard products, you will likely get ten different answers. Everyone is different. There's a lot of talk on the internet about this company changing up the products a while back, and not everyone (mostly nobody) is as happy with the new. I can't say that I used the old product, so I don't know about that. It's worth noting though.

Conditioner: Hard Pass. Just didn't do it for me as a cowash. Seems like it just doesn't do much other than smell good. More on smell later.

Balm: This is my personal favorite of the line. This is very "conditioner-like" for me. It was this that seemed more like conditioner than the conditioner. This is not a wax or even like one. Its consistency is more like lotion. And it smells good.

Wash: Meh. Smells good. Probably a decent wash.

Serum: Beard Oil is how most would refer to this. I'm not a huge oil person, but it's probably a decent one. It smells good. I have stopped using this one as it doesn't give me a lot that the balm doesn't.

SMELL: If you can't tell, I am in love with the smell of this stuff, and you will wake up the next day still...
