LibraCyn: Great hat. Packed it In a carry on suitcase and still came out with shape. Kept the sun out of my eyes and didn’t look stupid! I usually don’t wear hats but found this one better than a much more expensive hat I had ordered before this one and returned. How did they do it?? Impressive.

MarciT: I love this hat, seriously, it is one of my best friends. I do not leave my house without my hat, I wear it while I drive, walk or travel. I have bought many of them and have given some as gifts. It is fabulous for extra sun protection on top of my sunscreen. The thing I hate about this hat is that you cannot wash it, I assume it would diminish the upf 50 protection. The problem is that the inside of the hat is white. So when you sweat, or in my case, you sweat and your hair color rubs off on it, the inside brim becomes disgusting and filthy, truly embarrassing. They say to "spot clean" with some kind of oxy cleaner. How can you do that on the inner brim? It is touching your forehead, you can't rub chemicals all over it. What I end up having to do is keep buying new hats, but this is not practical. I really think they need to change the interior lining to black, that way, at least it doesn't wind up looking filthy and gross. Other than that, I love this hat.

Mac: I love this hat. This is my second one. I ruined the first one by washing it now the brim doesn't stay up. The hat is adjustable which is a great feature. I'm thinking of getting another color. I don't typically wear hats but I really like this one.

pinksunset: I have had my first had for about 3 or 4 years now and have just bought this second one (shipped from America so took a couple of weeks to arrive just in case you need one for your holidays plan ahead!). The old one has served me well on Mediterranean holidays (walking, on the beach and site seeing) and at home.
It is cool, lightweight, adjustable, the ties meant I could tie it on my back pack but also it was just as happy and reshaped fine after being inside hand luggage.
You can keep the edge of the brim flipped up or turn it down for a slightly different look.
The only reason I have had to buy a new one is because it is a paler colour and after a few years looked a little grubby on the edges when I took it out the cupboard. I had tried washing it by hand in cool water it came up clean but unfortunately had shrunk slightly (my mum has a smaller head so she has inherited it!)

A few months ago, Amazon moved  the specific ASIN item I purchased  to a dead page, effectively burying my review. Because I have purchased most colors of this hat since 2010, have updated my review repeatedly, and have taken copious photos, I have reposted my review here so it can continue to help people.*

I bought this hat in the Natural color to wear to a multi-day outdoor music festival. I wanted something cuter and more stylish than a fishing/boonie hat but didn't want to risk blocking other people's view of the stage by wearing a huge "J.Lo" glamour hat. So, I decided on this breezy cotton number, and I wasn't disappointed in the least. In addition to the music festival, I've also worn it hiking, rowing, and traipsing through farmer's markets. It has consistently kept my head cool, my eyes shaded, and my face, neck, and shoulders free of sunburn.

The weave of the fabric makes it look like linen, and according to the tag, it provides SPF 50+. The brim is nice and wide, made out of a somewhat stiff canvas that holds its shape if you bend it. There's no wire in the brim,...
