Vette06: The drums themselves are nice and sound good. The hardware is decent and the pedals on the snare stand and base pedal are stamped steel. Everything was very easy to assemble and was packed well for shipping. I have only two issues with the drum kit. The first being a small tear on the side of the seat portion of the throne. The second being the tom mounts. If you purchase this kit do not tighten the winged bolts on the tom mounts to anything other than snug. On the set I received it appears that the threads in the tom mount are not that great and are easily stripped. While the toms are holding on the mounts just fine now I can see this needing repair in the future (nothing a heli-coil cannot fix).

Lady Snow: After reading reviews I bought this full size drum set for my 12 year old son for Christmas. I was overwhelmed and anxious about having to build them on Christmas eve, but the directions were great and it wasn't difficult at all. My husband and I built them in about an hour. My son has been playing them for 5 days and I think they sound great. The red sparkle color is gorgeous!

Dustin WalkerDustin Walker: The media could not be loaded.  Great beginner kit. The drums sound great, cymbals are fine. Full sized, plenty large enough for an adult. One of the heads was mismatched, but it sounds good, and amazon gave me a discount in compensation. No complaints.

MNee: Look, these aren't professional drums. They do sound a bit hollow, but for my beginner who isn't sure if she really wants to play longterm or not, they are well worth the price. Easy assembly, they are attractive, and she loves them. The cymbals are a bit tinny sounding, and the snare isn't as smooth as I'd like, but again.... they are super cheap for a beginner or for a kiddo to just have fun. If you're on a budget, these would more than suffice for a set at home for practice. My daughter is 53" tall and they are a good size. I can sit at them and play comfortably as well.

Overall, highly recommend this set.
