I purchased the 3 shelf.
1. Color is not a bright white but it works and we will probably frame in later to look like built ins
2. The back piece that comes with it is not good. You can see the lines. If you are not leaning the shelf to a wall, you might need to install this anyway to add stability or get a thin piece of plywood.
3. Easy to put together, only 8 screws for me per shelf (not using the back).
4. I think it is sturdier than some shelves and for the price it works for me.

I'm impressed! Everything about this bookcase is just too good
-Shipped promptly
-The packaging was perfect. It had glues seals on the box so nothing could happen to it on the way here, and had individual scratch protects in between all the shelves. Screws and nails were also in a strong little bag
-Very easy setup.
-Amazing quality control. My shelves had no scratches, scruffs, or weird marks. They were all very clean and looked great
-The shelf looks gorgeous. Even the back cover, which is normally a cheap cardboard type of thing, is somewhat of a slightly better material that folds properly so it doesn't give off that cheap creasy look that other shelves do.
-The shelves are adjustable, so you can move them to whatever sizes you may need (Very valuable trait. Other Bookcases are too limiting because you can't move their shelves and are stuck with inconvenient sizes sometimes).
-This thing is actually pretty big. I found it to be among the biggest in its price range.
-It's sturdy once you get all the screws in tight. Really doesn't wobble unless you're putting a lot of force on it.

Perfect cute, inexpensive shelf for my office. The back is a bit flimsy (so you will want to put it against a wall), but the shelf itself is very sturdy. I plan to load it with books, and it definitely feels strong enough to handle them. Do note: If you want to buy the fabric cubes (which look super cute on the bottom!), the 13" size that's most popular won't fit. You can buy 10" size cubes (and I did), but your selection is a bit limited. Fantastic shelf though. Would definitely recommend/buy again.

Easy to install by myself. As of right now seems pretty durable.
There were reviews that the shelves fall out easily. I personally find it pretty snug and the shelves fit snuggly. This could change once there’s weight in it.
Originally got frustrated as they changed the predicted arrival date. But it ended up arriving when it was advertised on the order page.

I wanted two simple small/yet roomy bookcases for my daughter’s playroom - something safe and low to the ground that she would never be tempted to climb on. I got really frustrated while looking, because most bookcases for children are just too small and/or too expensive. A lot of book cases I looked at didn’t get great reviews. I kept coming back to these, and I’m glad I did! They are perfect in her playroom - they hold all of my childhood books AND hers, in addition to other things. I was surprised how much room I had left! I’m glad to know I can still add a lot to her collection without running out of room. They are very easy to assemble, and they came safely packaged and in perfect condition. They are very sturdy and well made for the price - I feel like they will be very safe for my child. I highly recommend these, and truly don’t think you’ll find a better simple bookcase for the price!
