Book Lover: Interesting story but not based entirely on facts. Still worth reading for crime story fans.

Lil Miss from Michigan: Much of this is made up dialogue, as it occurred before the author was born, but that's the creative license that's allowed to be taken in true crime of a historical nature and Ryan Green makes it work!
Grandly researched and finely told, a very unique serial killer if you're tired of reading about the "big ones" (BTK, Bundy, Night Stalker, Toy box Killer, Etc - Hundreds of books on each of them already!), like i am, then this is a good read for you

McMe: This is Giggling Granny Doss as she's never been written before. I've read other books and articles about her, but Ryan Green tells the story in a way only he can. Perspective truly is everything, and Ryan's books, many of which I have read (repeatedly), are proof of it. Grab and read any of his books if you're a true crime fan who is curious about what makes people tick, as am I. You won't be disappointed!

LAURA: Ryan Greens books are brilliant, they are cleverly written and you feel apart of the stories in every page. I can not rate his books enough. I didn’t read much before picking up one of his books one day and now I’m hooked. Please do not hesitate in buying this book. You will not regret it. I love true crime/ horror always have and reading a book rather than watching a series brings the true perspective to life even more. I shall continue to add to my collection.
Thank you

katrig: Nannie Doss married and murdered her husbands for money. Nanny travelled far distances to meet her lovers and next victim’s nannie managed to get away with each murder as she was not known in each state she visited, nannie would choose her men through writing to them from dating sites, this was long before internet dating sites wherever established. Nannie married them insure them and then poison them. Nannie was a true female serial killer who was Calculating, heartless and an evil woman. They called nannie the giggling granny who could also be so nice but as a sociopath had very manipulative ways and was a very clever actress which enabled her to go through life removing anyone in her life who was of no use to her anymore.
I am on Ryan Greens Advanced Book Review Team but purchased this book myself, so I am leaving an honest review. Another fabulous book Ryan.

Ms. D. Sharp: A true crime fan I am embarrassed to admit I have never read anything by the author before. I was intrigued by the story and so glad I purchased it. Ryan green's writing pulled me in from the first page to the last. So well written with great description and information as if the author was there at the time. Nannies many crimes are horrendous and manipulative ways and clever acting enabled her to go through life removing anyone in her life who was of no use to her anymore. The author also shows the other side of Nannie who deserves some sympathy initially. I will definitely buy more books by this author.

B. McKee: From the moment of her birth, Nancy Hazle was looking for love. To her ruthless stepfather, she was worth no more than the work she could perform from the time she could walk. Instead of going to school, she was made to work in the fields, earning a beating if she didn't work hard enough.
She escaped the farm when she was 15 by marrying Charley Braggs, not knowing she would be gaining a live-in mother-in-law who tormented her day and night. Then she discovered that she had married a womanizing drunkard. By now she had four children to raise. This was nothing like the romantic stories she lost herself in to escape harsh reality.
In those days, magazine racks were loaded with monthly publications with names like True Romance, Modern Romance, Real Confessions and the like. Nannie never gave up in her search for true love, a man who would cherish her and be faithful to her. She never found that man.
