GrooV67: Easy to assemble, sturdy. Amazon beats the price of any other retailer online. I can't believe what some other sites are charging for this thing.
Nice deep shelves, good look. The specs in the Amazon listing state, Material: Oak. And as heavy as this thing is I was thinking it might actually be solid wood, but it's not, it's pressboard with a veneer. Still a decent quality item.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, rustic looking bookcase.

DS: This was basically what I was expecting and hoping it would be. It not solid wood, but it's sturdy and looks like solid wood when assembled. It was very easy to put together. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer for the cardboard backing. Looks nice and holds all my books. No complaints.
