Amanda JAmanda J: So my dachshund is an interesting little gal to say the least. She loves this flippity fish to bits. she plays with it all day and then she brings it into bed with her at night. She went for the wiggling tail first and destroyed it but the fish still lives. I'll need to order two more since shes got our new puppy playing with it now too. Overall it's a very durable and fun toy, even for dogs who think they're cats ♡

B. Allen: I bought this on impulse for my 13 year old cat, Cleopatra. I stuffed the little package of catnip that is included into the fish and charged it up. But when I turned it on and put it in front of the cat, she gave it a sniff and ignored it. Also when the tail wiggles the fish makes an awful amount of loud noise. That might be intimidating to some cats. In the case of my cat, she's so old I think she's just too lazy to play with the fish. I'm going to give it to a friend who has a younger cat.

Jeffery Smeal: No complaints on the product itself. Exactly as described. Tough exterior. Flops nicely. Recharges.
Made the whole house laugh.

Cat went for it right out of the box. Whatever catnip they ship it with drove her NUTS. Never seen her go so hard after a toy. But the flopping....She did not like that so much and would wait for it to stop before going at it again.

After a couple days she eyes it suspiciously and mostly gives it a wide berth.
Not really the fault of the toy though. It's a fine thing.
She's a cat.
She'll play all day with the plastic stopper from a milk bottle.

The humans in the house still get a kick out of it though.

Airforce1953: This is a well made product, perhaps a little too large and aggressive for the average cat. Mine ignored it completely and after a month I asked for a return which was issued immediately.

EasyTiger: I found this on Amazon after seeing a commercial advertisement on TV about a similarly-named toy. I'm pretty confident it's same product marketed and sold under another name.

I'm happy to say this toy exceeded my expectations. It took just a few minutes to charge, and one of my two cats took to it right away. He rolls around the toy, clutches onto it, and bites it. (My other cat ignores it, but he's just one of those cats who's not thrilled by much of anything.)

After a week or so of my cat occasionally playing with the fish, it ended up underneath a cabinet where I found it over a month later. The fish fired right up, still kicking from the original USB charge. That's pretty impressive.

On the plus side, the fish has a remarkably realistic print on it. On the negative side, the gears moving the tail make a zzzzp, zzzzp, zzzzp sound, but that's nothing out of the ordinary for a toy like this. My cat doesn't mind the noise one bit.

I am buying two more of these for Christmas for family members' cats.

UPDATE: It's been over a year now, and the floppy fish toys I bought are all still working as good as new.

Suzanne: The media could not be loaded.  Kitty was about 12 weeks old and at first was scared of it but the adults played with it in front of her awhile and she timidly checked it out the first day or two, running off if it flipped its tail. By day theee she played well with it even jumping on top pouncing, etc. Still, nothing for her beats cheap little balls and junk tied to a string I had previously said you can’t wash it I stand corrected. You can remove the battery pack and catnip packet inside of it and wash it but I’d highly recommend your washing it by hand gently and air drying in sun. We have Guardia so we have to leave it in the direct sun for a week. Would I buy it again? Yes. She said yes. I need the red one now after having the blue for 3 months. Worth the money and guys think it’s cool, too.
