Thea Ellie: I bought this because a leak formed near the flush handle on the guest toilet after I replaced all the flush mechanisms. After applying this between the nut and ceramic wall of the toilet reservoir tank, leak stopped, so it did its job. I looked for something of this size because my local hardware shops (Ace, Home Depot, & Lowes) didn’t have anything that would work. Just needed one, but got more, so at least I’ll have spares if need be.
