The safe had a problem with the biometric system. I called customer service and they answered the phone and tried to walk me through the process of setting up the biometric. Then they contacted engineering and in about an hour engineering called me back and we discussed the issue. They sent me a new one and I received it within a couple of days. I set it up very easily and it works. The produce opens so fast and the design is perfect for my needs. Because of the service they gave me I would purchase any safe from this company. The Customer service exceeded my needs. Note* It was so nice to speak to someone that speaks English. You know sometimes when calling a help center you are sent over seas and struggle speaking to them and understanding them. I'm giving them a 5 Star!!

Box is sturdy and easy to program. It comes with two keys if you need to bypass the lock. It’s roomy and the cushion inside is a good quality. It’s great and a reasonable price point for piece of mind.

7/12/23 Company is still refusing to replace unless I give them a FIVE Star Review. They have received the defective safe in May. So much for the 1 year - 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. The replacement safe we agreed to was less expensive than this model.
The Biometric fingerprint scanner works randomly. I tried 3 different sets of batteries. It was reprogrammed after each set of new batteries. It would never work if my hands had just been washed. I bought this for a 6 week trip and now my return window is closed through Amazon. I'll reach out to RPN3 for assistance. Nice box if you only want keyed operation.
May 24th. I have made contact with RPN3 customer support. After several attempts to reprogram, RPN3 has agreed to swap out for an RFID model. At present, I have not received the replacement. I will add review for this product once received. - 6/1/23 - RPN3 is now refusing to replace unless they get 5 star review. The defective unit has been returned and they have acknowledged receipt of it.

Overall I really like this safe. It is solidly built and comes with a steel cable to secure it so no one can walk off with it. The size is perfect, it was able to fit a HK USP Expert, which is a monstrous handgun. It sides nicely under a bed or couch and can be deployed in moments. The construction is very heavy-duty, it would take some serious effort to get it open.
The only trouble I had was with the finger print scanner. I originally scanned my thumbs and index fingers, but found that the scanner failed to recognize me when I tried to open it the first time around. It would open on the second try each time. I decided to clear all the fingerprints and just scan my same thumb multiple times under different profiles. I did one on the left side, one on the right, one at the tip of my thumb, and one at the base. This seems to have remedied the issue, I can get it to open the first time regularly now.
Overall I like the safe and think it is a great value. If I was able to make changes, I would add either rechargeable batteries or a hard-wire plug so I don't need to rely on a set of AA batteries. I'm sure they last a while, however it would be just my...
