Shay: Very cute and sturdy, directions were not clear so you have to figure it out yourself pretty much. The only thing I did not like the screws that were on the drawer did not have a cover to blend with the color of the wood, the black screws are just standing out on top of the gray.

Stephanie Jones: This is a beautiful, unique book shelf for a small space. I fit quite a lot of paperbacks on it and the drawer was larger than I thought it would be. You can get approximately 9 paperbacks on each shelf, depending on the size of the book. Assembly wasn't too bad, but I did have to get a drill to screw in some on the backboard. The holes weren't deep enough. Very happy with it.

LodmotLodmot: I assembled this shelf last night for my 8-track tape collection, and it fits the retro vibe I'm going for really well! Love the diagonal/angular look with the woodgrain finish. There's a nostalgic charm factor to it that is hard to really describe correctly.

The only issue I really had with it is that because of its design, it actually doesn't hold quite as much as I thought it would. I was able to fit all 82 of my tapes on it, but just barely. Not a big deal, because I'm re-arranging/trying to purge some stuff in my finished basement anyway. The drawer, although small-looking, actually holds a decent number of items comfortably, so that helped alleviate my concern about the capacity.

All in all, this is a beautiful, stylish shelf that I would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to add a retro feel to their living space. :)

Its fun looking, holds stuff great, it does need mounted to the wall as it is unsturdy but it comes with the mount and I actually have not mounted it yet and I am not fearful of it falling currently. Nice piece of furniture that many will comment on. Doesn't need much space. Sorry camera broken or I would post a pic,

Kim L: It is neither tall nor wide, but it fit in a very narrow space (less than 24") and holds quite a few books in small groups. The tree shape allows you to group books together without being on long shelves and thus kind of disappearing. It is strong enough and unique looking so all in all I think it was worth the fairly small price I paid. It's not quite five stars because it needs help with long term stability, being a bit top-heavy. A wider base would help that. But that might also be a negative, so it's hard to improve on the product.
