Lawrence Walker: The stem-mount is the place to be, and Rock Bros ROCKS.

There are many bike cases designed for the top tube. I find that position to be annoying and in the way. They take up space where you might want to stand over the bike, and my knees touch them while riding, an unwelcome distraction. Handlebar bags (which sit in front of the handlebars) are out of the way but are sometimes more than you need. The stem mount case is ideal. Even in a crash, your phone and valuables would be protected from most impacts, and the phone is tilted properly toward the rider without being in the way.

There are many options available on Amazon, and I studied every one I could find. This Rock Bros model won out for its handsome, contoured, 'carbon-look' body that seems impervious to moisture and for its ideal stem-mount size. I will say that I don't try to fumble with my phone while riding, even if using an app like Strava, so phone sensitivity is not nearly as important to me as phone protection. With that in mind, I'd say this thing is dialed in perfectly.

Dennis A: The ROCKBROS Handlebar phone holder is a well made product that might be ideal for you. Its easy to install with a few velcro style straps, and while it might bounce slightly on rough roads, its secure even at high speed. The way you secure your phone can accommodate a wide variety and sizes of phones and is padded to protect it from jostling against anything you might store in the pouch. The pouch is pretty room, easily holding a wallet, keys, and a case for glasses. I found the clear screen generally a little oversize for my smallish phone so it tended to have a bit of ripple but it still worked find for the occasional press and didn't increase the difficultly reading the screen. The case sits far enough up that I don't hit it while riding, or dismounting. All in all the product does everything you'd expect from it in a reasonable and quality manner.

As for my nitpicks: First is if you properly secure and place your phone in the case its actually kinda annoying to remove it as you can't just slide it up and out due where the plastic hood bit meats the zipper. That is unless you purposely leave your phone loose in the strap, in which case you're sort of defeating the...
