Letten: The pocket guide is great for a nursing student to review procedures, assessments, changes that occur at certain ages, trauma, medications, labs, and patient education. Some things have pictures that show how something is to be done, which is a great feature. Also, there's a little red NCLEX box to alert you that certain material has been seen on the NCLEX before. The only issue I have had with it is the lab ranges, as they were different from a text book, but that occurs with most lab ranges; just be vigilant. Otherwise, it's a great tool to use!
