CxxR: This infuser locks good so that’s a win. I use it for putting spices in my soup and I noticed the flavor from the anise seed didn’t get into my soup as well as the previous infuser. Maybe because the holes in this one are much smaller. I’ll have to test it with other spices/teas. All in all, it’s a nice infuser and good quality.

Amazon Customer: Considering what other vendors are charging for ones that could be bought at the 99 Cents store, this is a nicely made, great little way to make your tea with an extra spoon and a little dish to set it on once you’ve removed it from the cup. I love this product and I highly recommend it.

Tina: because there are 3 slots and 3 flanges which operate together to make a secure seal. How? Just make sure each flange engages its slot. Then turn slightly and it clicks securely into place. Voila! This is not a screw-on or compression fit. I am amazed how some reviewers place blame for failure on an object when the blame is clearly on them for not using it right. And when it is so easy and obvious how to do it right! You really don't need an engineering degree to figure these things out. Just a bit of patience, 2 eyes to see and common sense.

Shonda C.: These lasted almost 2 years, 1 year for each strainer. They didn't rust, but I fought with keeping the lids locked on both. Poor design there. There have been more than a few times I have lost the contents in either the water for my tea, or in the water when I'm making my broths. But, they never rusted. For $10 bucks I got the money's worth, but I wouldn't buy this product again.
