The basket is not secured to the bike other than a half inch hook, which immediately will bounce out. Nothing is straight so the clips don’t actually go into the basket to hold it in place, not that they would do anything! Do not waste your time or money on this basket!

Sherri M. Wilson: This basket is roomy, and easily attaches and sits on the handlebars of your bike.
It also has handles, so you can take it off your bike and use it as a basket for anything anywhere.
Very sturdy construction and easy to use.

Lisa Shlanda: Basket was just as described. The only issue I had was with the strap that attaches to the bike it broke within n a week , but fixed with duct tape and seems to be holding well . Strong enough for my grocery runs . Would buy again

ConstablazeConstablaze: This basket is a must with a bike! I ordered and used one everyday for 3 months and then the welding came apart on the bracket that connects to the bike. I emailed them my problem, after I had already ordered/received a replacement, and they were very quick to respond. Zak from customer service was prompt and professional. Zak asked for a few things such as a picture, my order #, and a verification of address. Within a week a new basket was sent to me. Not only is the product amazing but the way customer service of retrospec treated and responded to my issue was next level. I am very happy with all of it, I feel lucky to have run across this product while searching for a bike basket. Highly recommended! Special thanks to Zak, give him a raise!

Early AdopterEarly Adopter: I am pleased with this purchase. Most reviews seem to be very positive but there are a few that panned the basket. I don’t plan to put a lot of heavy things in this basket and believe that it should provide good service and last for a while provided I treat it well.
The basket was very easy to mount. It literally took a minute. I took a cue from some of the reviews and added an extra wrap of Velcro from some that I had hanging around. This gives me confidence that it is secure and also prevents any potential scratching of the frame.
One of the best features of this basket is its easy placement and removal. There are two hooks on the bottom of the hanger assembly that the bottom of the basket fits into. With the carrying handles in the upright position the top of the basket fits into two wire loops for the top of the basket. Laying the handles flat then locks the basket in place. I’ve taken some good jolts while riding with the basket in place and not encountered any problems with the basket coming loose or items bouncing out. If this is a concern it should easily be dealt with by placing a bungee cord or two over the top or using a bit of Velcro to hold the...

sasha: This basket is well made and sturdy, easy to install. Unfortunately because of where my break line down the centre of my handle bars and that is where the basket rests it hits my break line making my bike stop while riding.

C. Harding: The build quality seems pretty good. That being said, I've had two problems with it:
1- the fabric and velcro strap that holds the mounting bracket to the bike frame is of very poor quality and has torn apart in less than a few months of use. There are ways to fix it, by sewing it together again or reinforcing it, but really not impressed.
2- There is no built-in way to lock the basket handles down. May seem like a trivial problem, but I was biking around last week and when I hit a small bump on the road, the impact sent the lightweight handles up in the air, untying the basket from its mounting and sending it off the front of the bike.
I get around this by using bunjee cords, but a simple little latch would have been a good idea.
4 stars because despite the above problems, good deal for the price.

Megs: This is basket is pretty great as far as it's practicality and ease of use. It stays on the bike pretty well and can hold a good amount of stuff. I rode over speed bumps, various bumps in the road, etc. and only the handles popped up sometimes but didn't make the basket loose or anything. I even put a soda cup in this basket and rode home and it didn't spill. I ride to campus every day (I live in an extremely bike friendly college town) and I bring this basket sometimes when I know I'm going to pick up something on the way home. I don't take it every day because it is quite heavy and because it's detachable it's super easy for someone to just walk by and steal this basket. It's heavy and the bracket to attach it to your bike sort of pushes down the brake cables; I haven't had trouble with the breaks but it does seem like the bracket is holding them down a little. It is detachable and it's super easy to detach. You just lift the handles up and go. It's convenient if you're going to carry the basket everywhere with you but if you want to lock your bike up outside it's best to take it with you. I take my bike basket inside when I lock my bike overnight and just leave the bracket...

Richard 230: I really like this basket. It fit easily on my Aniioki ebike and another different ebike that I own, even though the companies do not sell their own front basket. The basket is sturdy and well designed. Once you get the support bracket installed, to remove the basket for shopping or some other purpose all you have to do is to lift up the handles so that they are vertical and then the basket will lift right off the support bracket. Replacement of the basket is just as easy. A great design and well executed.
