C. Parker: I use this at it's tallest height to set up my sewing machine. Plenty of room, and very easy to fold up and put away. This keeps me from piling other stuff on top, so the table is ready-to-go instead of having to be cleared off. I haven't used it camping because I bought it just as a sewing table. Taller people might think it's too short, but I'm 5'2", so it fits me just right.

J. Stevens: I needed a very specific sized table to fit over my bass practice amp, something just wide enough, deep and high enough to give me some table space in my music room. The top is sort of a dense cardboard with a slick surface. Would have preferred metal, but this was the only one I found that would work. It stays indoors, no idea what it's like in the wild.

J. Schultz: I was looking for a small, compact table for our 5th wheel trailer for my laptop. And I have been using this as a small table for astrophotography with my telescope. Very light weight and compact and there is a lock so it doesn't fold up in use.
There are two extensions to get to full height. One set of extensions simply pulls out from the legs that fold underneath. The second set clips into the bottom of the table and you have to separately install them. Not a big deal but I was kind of expecting to just pull out both sets of legs.
Height is OK, albeit a little low, with both sets of legs installed.
A minor problem is that the metal frame around the table sections, including down the middle once the table is unfolded, is higher than the surrounding surface. So when you put a laptop on the frame in the center of the table, it rocks a bit. I stick something under one side to make the laptop stable but it is a bit annoying.
