Devon Tome: Bought this as an edc, wrap it around like a belt and now I have a hidden tourniquet of ever needed.

D H: If you carry concealed, or open, you should ALWAYS have a TQ on you, and other items, but, at least the TQ.

Think of it this way, if you carry for personal protection, then there's a likelihood that IF the very improbable use of force scenario comes up with you, there's a chance someone will get shot. If it's an artery hit, brachial, femoral, etc. You will need to stop the blood. Be it your own, or someone else.

And don't just stop with the obvious. Car accidents happen all the time, and other accidents where deep cuts, tears, punctures, and lacerations will happen. Is ALWAYS a good time to have a TQ on you. Some people carry more than one.

I carry this RATS TQ in a soft pouch in my pocket so that it won't unravel, and that is easy to get to.

I cannot urge people enough to take a good first aid class, or ten, and be prepared to help others when you can.

I clearly don't know everyone, but I'd like to think that most decent people would want to help.

First aid training can not only save your own life, but maybe a friend or family member, or maybe a total stranger.

Colton S. Photographer & Video Producer: I’ve carried the RATS for 2 years now day in and day out and I’m able to carry it day in and day out because it is SO lightweight and so easy to carry. I don’t need a pouch to put it in I don’t need cargo pockets I dont even need jeans I can carry this on my person in my basketball shorts.

I stage my RATS around my EDC Firearm, 2 mag holster on left side and IWB Pistol holster on right side. Take the loose end and put it into the “3 finger loop” and pull it all the way through Until it’s snug. You will then have the Tourniquet “staged”. Take the cleat and 3 finger loop to the left side (Hip) of the body to ride above the mag holster against the body With the loose end (staged loop) facing down. Take the loose end and run it through ONLY the center rear pant belt loop then run the loose end around the right side above the pistol holster against the body. You will then run the loose end through the 2 front belt loops directly to each side of the crotch. Bring the loose end to the cleat and make it snug enough for the cleat and 3 finger loop to not flop all over but loose enough to not loose circulation (it is a tourniquet after all) and slide the loose end...

Stephen Barton: Incredible tourniquet! As a former US Army Medic I have used a great number of quality products but few that really stand out. This stands out because it could literally fit anyone-even a child. I know of no other device that would fit children as well as any adult. I am blown away with the quality of this. I hope I never actually have to use this but if I do I know that I have got one of the best turn a kits on the planet that could actually save someone’s life. It is so easy to use and I feel like I am a better prepared medic now with this in my aid bag. This is a totally unbiased review. I have not been paid in any way to write this. This comes directly from the heart and I could not recommend another tourniquet that would be better than this. For me, this is as good as it gets!

Robert A Moreno II: This is my favorite tourniquet! For me, it's the fastest of the four types I tried.

This works on very small limbs like that of a dog, or small child. I've heard the argument that the size isn't important because you can just hold a small limb with your hand, but I think that's ridiculous. I might not have the strength to hold it tight enough for a long time, nor can I be sure that I won't need that hand for something else.

The SWAT-T was just too hard to use; It was good for a small limb, but was too hard to stretch and took too much fussing to get it in place. The Gen 7 CAT was very good, but didn't pack as small and it was hard to use on small limbs, the SOFTT-Wide was very good as well, and packed smaller than the Gen 7 CAT but still had the same problem with small limbs.

I found the RATS clones from China and thought I could save some money, but those turned out to be crap. The strap isn't as wide, long, or thick, and the stitching came undone when I was practicing on myself, which rendered it useless.

This is the right product for me.
