mango7908: I measured my dog's paw, several times, to make sure these would fit. We had a pair from when she was a puppy, which are a size 2 and too small. They suggested a larger size, so I ordered per their chart. The shoes came and they look awesome. Well made, pretty color, look durable, a quality item. Got them on my pups' feet. They looked huge and she had them off in less than 10 seconds. This pair was too big, so the option was to order another pair in size 2. I already have those and they're too small. Something must have changed in a year. These are the exact same item seller/brand/style. I found them based off my purchase history. If you can get the right size, this brand is the way to go. They'll be worth every penny. Bummer.

I appreciate the attentiveness and thoughtfulness along with a great product. This is my second purchase the first one lasted for several yrs before purchasing a new one. My baby is a 4yr old Shiba Inu ~28lbs and a sz 2. A sz 3 would work too but I think sz 2 fits better. I like the double Velcro strap bc it is more secure. The reflective material is nice too. Also, the shoes does not limit him to what he does while I take him on walks. He can run, walk up and down the stairs too with no problem. I love that he is comfortable but also eliminating the need to clean his paws from walking on dirty pavement or other poopy/ peepee areas lol. KatKKatK: I purchased these for hiking so our dog would not cut or bruise her paws on the trails. They went on and secured easily and the fit seemed to run according to the size chart offered by the company. It took her a bit to learn to walk in them (kind of spastic at first), but she didn’t dislike them. She wore them around the house and yard off and on before leaving on our trip. On the first day of hiking, she seemed to be moving well in the shoes, but we still decided to stop and check her paws at about the half mile mark. I was so upset to see that the mesh had rubbed the skin off her paws. I cannot even imagine what she would have experienced if we had continued further into the hike before checking! These shoes had so many great reviews, but I assume they must all be for the fleece lined version. I purchased the breathable, mesh version for hiking during the heat of summer, and they were not safe shoes for dogs. I included pictures of our dog’s paws the day after the hike that was cut short so we could get home and clean her paws and apply antibacterial salve. She got to hang out in the air conditioning during the rest of the trip, which was a let down for her...

EstrildEstrild: I have a 7 month old standard poodle who's used to wearing footwear. They seemed a bit stiff at first, but once outside for first walk she was completely comfortable. They are flexible, have good grip on the bottom, and look casual, and they stayed on great with the two velcro straps, though a back foot occasionally spins upside down if not fastened tightly enough. I think the reflectors are an excellent addition. Taking the shoes off, they are not steaming hot inside as silicone boots are, just slightly warm, which is great. I ordered size 4 for her according to her weight on the chart. Here she is wearing them. I think size 3 might have fit slightly better, but she has a little growing room. They are a little loose side to side. Poodles are heavier than the corresponding foot size, as they have little feet compared to other breeds. One size down I think. The shoes are well constructed and more durable than the simple silicone ones I used before. People think they're cute.

Artfulcath: These shoes are extremely good for walking your dog on hot pavement, sidewalks, etc. I also like the fact that they are sold in sets of 2, to allow you to customize the paw size, since most dogs seem to have smaller back paws than their front. I was able to order her a size 6 for the front paws and size 5 for the back paws. My goldendoodle wears them nearly every day throughout the summer. They are also cute on her paws! I get compliments on her shoes every single day! These shoes are also nicely made on the inside so they don’t hurt her paws—no rubbing or sores, and as I said, she wears them nearly every single day on long walks.
A couple of minor negatives however- these run wide and shorter than others I’ve purchased. So you have to order them long enough but end up with a lot of play in the shoes due to width. I have to pull them pretty tight on her ankles to prevent them from flipping upside down when walking her. I also wish the fabric was a little thicker/stronger and the vinyl was sewn to the fabric instead of glued. If they were sewn I could machine wash them on gentle cycle, but these cannot be machine washed. They do get dirty and I have to...

Arashi: I loves my boots I have bought three pairs now two for the winter groom on my service dog which are size 7s and a size 6 for her summer groom. My girl is a standard white poodle that weighs 57lbs. I love them but I do recommend going by the weight and groom of your dog. My girl also likes the way the treads are on these boots vs other boots I have tried. I have bought several different brands and she likes this brand the best. I think that its important to size your dog correctly. However let me put i there that these particular breathable ones stained my white poodles feet the first time she sweated. She had jsut gotten groomed and now I have to wash her feet in the tub to get it off. It did come off with a scrubbing but as a guide dog user that’s a pain.
