FandN: Went to several local stores and could only find two different repair kits. Both were very hard to use and after may tries I gave up.
Then I bought this. It took only a few minutes to repair the glasses.
It's easy for those with shaky hands to use it. Very successful!!!

Donny: I'd been trying to find the right screw to fix the arm on my son's sunglasses for while without luck. Decided to give this a go. Got a screw out of the pack to try it and .... it fell straight through the hole! ........Then I discovered that there were different size screws in the pack so I tried another - perfect fit !! Amazon Customer: My son stripped the screw that attaches the arm to the frame. Returning to the optometrist didnlt help, as they replaced the screw, but it remained stripped.

The package came from the US (I am in Canada), and arrived in about 10 days. The kit included a few different sized screws with the long pin at the end. Feeding the pin through the arm and frame was easy because of the pin. I then retapped the screw (as I had chosen a slightly larger size screw from the kit), and snapped off the end when it was flush. It has worked perfectly so far, and I have not had any issues at all.

Gork5000": I had two pairs of prescription glasses that had missing screws. I've met a lot of people with missing screws, but there aren't any products sold on Amazon that could fix them. But the SnapIt Eyeglass Repair Kit worked great without having to drive all over town trying to find an eyeglass repair kit that would actually work. Most kits are useless and extremely tedious to work with. With them, their screws kept falling and it took forever to find the missing screws. But with SnapIt, the screws have a long breakoff rod that slides through both openings on the eyeglass frame making it easy to put the screw in place.

With typical eyeglass repair kits the screws were short and when trying to put the lens in the frame and the screw in the hole at the same time made it almost impossible to fix. But the guide rod eliminated this problem and made it easy to install both the lens and screw at the same time.

Another plus: When you buy a typical repair kit and the threads in your frame is stripped they won't work at all. But with SnapIt, the stainless steal screws are strong enough to cut new threads while they are being screwed in to the frame.
