I recently got a new charger Daytona with suede seats and was worried about my buddy clawing them so this was the perfect fix. It covered the entire seat and created a safe area where he can travel. Installs in about a minute just some clips and a tug on the tightening straps. There's a lot of adjustment I'd have a hard time thinking there's a vehicle this wouldn't fit in. Worked really nice in my girlfriend's Corolla! Worth the money to get

Shyne: I actually bought two of these for our full size truck. Because we have 2 children and car seats, along with dogs, we needed to be able to walk on the floor and have it covered, as well as the backs of the seats. We installed one, as intended, on the back seat, ran it down to the floor and the second one we installed on the back of the front seats and down to the floor and they overlap beautiful. We have taken several long trips with no issues and it has saved a tremendous amount of cleaning time from dirty feet (children and dogs) and hair. Our German Shepard likes to lay on his bed on the floor and it looks like Chewbacca roadkill when he gets out, but these covers have been great in keeping it off the chairs and floors! Great quality, easy to clean, and easy to install. Very reasonably priced and our large shepherd doesn’t seam to be nervous from the feeling of slipping, as with other covers we’ve tried.

R. Tamayo: After I bought my first car about 2 weeks ago I needed a way to keep it clean of my dogs hair. In comes Honest Outfitters, the top brand when looking up pet seat covers. I didnt really know what I was looking at and just decided to go for them. Best decision ever! The cover fits perfectly in my Hyundai Elantra, very wide service area and even helps keep my dogs in the back seat by having a little barrier. One small problem would be that it doesn't have enough grip and kind of folds up and leaves part of my seat exposed, but that could be because I didn't tighten it just yet, I will update review once I do. But other than that, great quality and definitely keeps dog hair off of my seats.

Mike: I bought this three months ago for the convenience of taking my dog in the car with me.
This car seat cover for dogs is really wonderful.
It’s very comfortable. My dog lied down and rested during drives.
The material is very strong. It can withstand dog scratches from nails.
If you are looking for something to keep the dog hair from flying all over the car, this will definitely help. After the drive I unhook the straps and fold the cover in and slide it out the car with little to now hair remaining on the inside. The cover makes going to the vet even more easy as the cover keeps the dog from distracting you from driving.
The cover takes about a minute or less to install in the car. It’s really easy to do.
The side flaps assist in protecting the side later of the back doors from scratch.
Great buy.

Nik: I selected and bought this cover after quite a bit of research and comparing a few similar ones. What sold me on this one was the seat anchors and nonslip backing of the surface which covers the horizontal part of the seat. We took a 6 day road trip recently with our senior 95 lb dog. Because of his size, I did not use it as a hammock but left the front part down to cover the footwell of the rear. After some time in the car on day one, the dog had managed to pull and part I had let down on the seat. If you set it up as a hammock that would not be an issue.

For newer cars like the Camry, the rear headrests are one piece with the rear seat and with both rear windows down the wind/air will slowly get the straps off the headrests. It was a minor inconvenience for us.

The upper fabric is synthetic, it will create some static electricity which you might notice on your pets' fur when grooming them. The positive side here is that some of the pet hair your pet might shed will stick to the material, rather than find other surfaces to call home. We placed a beach towel over the cover to give our pooch added comfort.

SN: The Good Parts

* The build quality is fine - no complaints
* It prevents a dog from falling into the lower part of the passenger compartment
* Easy to install - takes about a minute
* Will protect leather surfaces from getting scratched up
* If you have a dog who basically lies down for the entire ride, this is a great buy. If you have active dogs who want to come to the front all the time, maybe not.

Could Be Better

* The front and back panels are not rigid
* The front panel top seam should at the very least have a semi rigid bar going across it, as it can sag, allowing a motivated dog to climb over
* The front panel doesn't go high enough in my opinion. We actually mount them to the opening **in** the headrest of my wife's RAV4. Not all headrests are O shaped so you won't be able to do that in all cars. We have smallish dogs, and I tend to think they can still climb over to the front if they were motivated enough. It would be super easy for a medium size dog who wants to get to the front to do so, which in my opinion is not a good thing.
* The side flaps are somewhat useless if you have smaller dogs. I think they should be longer and...

Dave: I'm going to start this review off at 4 stars. The build quality seems decent, size is perfect for my 2006 4dr Jetta TDI (though I did fold the side flaps under the seat cover.....they aren't overly long but too long for the height of my back seat). I did buy 2 of these seat covers, the other one is for my truck and I will install that one tomorrow. I suspect the truck will be a bit wider than the car and thus the side flaps will be handy to close off the space to the door. The rear of the cover has a Velcro closure to feed the included short leash into a seatbelt receptacle. The leash is adjustable in length.

One nice design feature is the cover has 2 hard plastic tubes on the underside to slide between the seat and the seat back. They take a bit of pushing to install but once in seem to do a good job of anchoring the read bottom part of the cover. The straps to fit the headrests are adjustable which is also handy to get a decent fit. My truck doesn't have rear headrests so a bungee cord or two to the baby seat anchors may be required for that installation.

This cover is supposed to be waterproof (and mudproof too I hope), as well as non-slip. Time will tell on both...
