Beebee: I had a very old, rusty, difficult to close and open travel cage. I was ashamed to use it. It is important to have a back up cage for your birds. My cockateil has a very large cage, but there's no way I can travel with it. I need a simple cage to take my bird to the vet, wing trimming appointment, and especially when I'm cleaning the big cage. It was easy to set up from the shipping carton. It is easy to open and close the entrance. It's the kist the right size for any car travel. Big enough for bird to stay in when going to a friend's house. Get this before you need it, to accustom your bird. It's sturdy and quality.

CFMTEXAS: I needed a sleep cage / travel cage for my white bellied caique. This Prevue cage fit my needs nicely. It makes a perfect sleep cage & weekend travel cage for my small parrot. It was easy to set up. It comes with a dowel perch but I put my own rope perches in it. It also comes with two stainless steel bowls which is nice. I am pleased with my purchase.

AIM: I’ve purchased two of these cages over the years. They are easy to assemble and the large door allows easy access. I use one as a sleep cage for my Green Cheeked Conure and a second as an “emergency” carrier and alternate cage while I’m cleaning his large daytime cage. I love this cage so much that when I travel by air to visit family I send a new one to them ahead of my arrival.

Karen Jubel: I am extremely satisfied with this cage. It is for a small to medium size bird. I have a pionus and she is not a real active girl so this is perfect for the amount of time she is in it. It is nice as a traveling, sleeping cage or for some outside patio time as she is not harnessed trained. In a crunch, she could live in here for a few days providing I give her enough out of cage time to stretch her wings and play.

It is super easy to put together and takes about 1 minute to set up. I have 2 others like this but a different brand. This one is about $10 more than my others but it's worth the extra money. It seems the wire is heavier which makes it more sturdy. The bowls are of nicer quality with small safety hooks that help hold them in place. The bottom tray is deeper and heavier plastic with a latch that prevents it from sliding out. It includes a perch but I use only natural or rope perches. It is at a great price point for the quality. Don't look any further. I am pretty particular and would highly recommend this travel cage.

Jo: This will be a perfect travel cage for my green cheek conure. In my opinion, it shouldn't be a home cage because I think that bigger is always better for a main cage. Every single part of me is impressed with this cage.

The only gripe would be that there is a single handle in the middle which makes weight distribution a little funky and it's made of the same wire as the bars so it would start to hurt if you have to carry the cage for a bit. The cup holder bolts could also be better and you would need a screwdriver to really get them to be hulked on to the bars, but you can have them stay just fine just using your hands. If your bird is an escape artist, the door mechanism may not be sufficient, but it's just fine for me.

Otherwise, everything else is ingenious. It took about 30 seconds to figure out how to expand it when I took it out of the box. The bowls are made in a SUPER smart way. You can kind of see it in the pictures, but the holders aren't a perfect circle. they have little nubs coming out. The bowls have similar nubs on their outside so that you drop them into the loops and then rotate them so that they are locked in place and can't come out until you line...
