TAS: Great for kids. The set is a very nice size for older kids. Love how it has a lip on it just in case the plate get hot from putting in the microwave. Not flimsy like normal plastic plates. Loved the first one so much had to buy another set.

Kate: I bought it last year for the camping trips. I love this sets, it looks very beautiful and very easy to be cleaned. When on the camping site, I washed them by hand. After got home, I put them all in the dishwasher, done. Never use paper plates or plastic cups anymore.

Adam Cook: Overall, this set is adorable. Able to go in the dishwasher which I love. My kid can use the exaggerated lip on the bowls and plates to hold onto better when carrying. The cups are just right for my 3 year olds hands to hold. My only complaint would be that there is no clarity about microwave usage. The packaging, the dishware, nor the description here on Amazon make it clear if these can be used in a microwave. The question section also seems to be unclear as some say yes and others say no.

Diviner2309: This is the best thing if you're student living alone. You can microwave it, it doesn't warp. I have been using it for almost 2 months daily. And still looks the same as new.

Jujanali: This dinnerware is recycled, made in the USA, and BPA free! They are super affordable and perfect for breakfast, lunch and/or a casual dinner. We purchased a set in green & a set in blue to mix it up a bit. We haven't used the cups yet as they seem a little tippy. The kids use the bowls every day for cereal and they are just perfect. The lip on the sides ensures that little hands can hold on to them.

These are NOT microwave safe! Please don't be discouraged by a reviewer that complains about how they melted in the microwave. The manufacturer states NOT to microwave them. Use stoneware or glassware for the microwave.

HobieCat: This tableware is made out of sturdy plastic and have a very substantial feel to them. The cups, dishes and bowls are well designed and have a nice texture to them - I didn't think I'd like the lip on the side of the plates and bowls, but I find that it is a nice feature to have a handle. I love that they are BPA-free and are made in the USA from recycled plastic. These look like they will last a lifetime (and can be recycled if they don't). I'm very happy with this purchase - we bought them to use on our boat, and I might buy another set for home - they would be great for kids and picnics.

R.E.S.: This is my second set. They are durable and dishwasher safe. I got these because my 4 yr old has outgrown child size plates and bowls, but we have him clear his dishes from the table. I don't trust him with breakable ones yet. The 'handle' seems a little odd at first, but it is really very nice for carrying the plate or bowl using one hand (keeps fingers from getting in the food). I also like that they are recycled and made in the USA. Interesting note, there is a 're-made' date on the bottom and a reminder to recycle it when you're done, as well as braille.

Dorothy: Ignore my first silly opinion below. I received these dishes and really love them. I drop things a lot (have MS) and the first thing out I dropped a tumbler. Bounce, skid, no problem. There is no chemical odor or any odor at all. They are sturdy and so glad I bought them and that they are made in the USA, no bph (who knows waht that is), recycled and everything good. I will buy from this company again and recommend them without reservation.

I just ordered this set of dishes then began wondering how do they remove bph from the recycled plastic items used to manufacture their dishes? I ordered a set of toddler dishes from Amazon made by Bela Luna Toys for my great-grandaughter and they say their dishes are bpa free and are made from corn. Since I'm not a chemist and don't know about these things, there must be a way to do it. I'm going to contact the company that manufactures them and ask. Not how they manufacture them. Just how they know for certain they are bpa free. They don't use it when they make them, but...? Until I know I'm giving one star. I hope to be back with more stars. And I'll use them when they arrive and will not die from bph, whatever that is. Don't tell me....
