I’ve ordered these collars different colors in the past and have had no problems with degradation. You can tell they are made with great quality and I appreciate the durability. This recent purchase I got a size 15-17 sky blue collar for my 3 month old boxer puppy, the collar is loose and on the first notch but the puppy can grow into it. Hopefully it gives you an idea on what size you need. The collar is thick, the collar has a nice feel to it. I’m sure my dogs don’t care what kind of collar I get them, but I know I like the way it looks on them. For some of the reviews I noticed someone mentioned about leashes not working well these collars, I have used the matching leash with these collars and I was in a rush at that time, it was fine. Not sure about other brand leashes. I mainly use harnesses with leashes. Harnesses won’t choke your dogs.

I’ve bought two of these now as my puppy has grown. I’m a fan, it looks very nice, it’s well made, relatively inexpensive, padded so it’s not as hard on a pup when giving leash corrections.
Only thing I didn’t like was the original size (small)I bought. The leash ring was way to small, very inconvenient especially with a name tag taking up space.
The 15-17in collar is perfect and fits both. Would have given 5 stars if that’s the only one I bought.

Bought this kind of collar for my 3 dogs. I have two german shepherds and one chihuahua. I was worried about either too big on the small one, or too small on the big one's. My male shepherd has a big neck and my chihuahua is smaller than normal. I was pleasantly surprised that the sizes fit good. All the dogs have room too spare but are also not too loose either. And seeing as how my dogs are rough players, they stand up to regular wear and tear of them playing, running in the field in the rain, dips in the pool with water, training session's, etc. And they still look brand new. I was hinky at first since i never bought the product before, but it's a good product.I am still hinky on where the dogs tags hook up too, seeing as how it is a thin strap of leather, it's still holding up, i'll edit this review if things change though. So far so good though. I bought the orange color collar-for my female shepherd, the green color collar-for my male shepherd, and the blue color collar-for my male chihuahua. And it all looks really good and snazzy on them. Definetly a product that's not wasted here. I recommend this collar to anyone that needs a more durable collar for...
