Old Bear: It grinds well and seemed to be balanced well. It is dustier than my old wheel but should be okay.

Cheryl Odbert: Bought this to work on a ceramic tile install. Since I didn't have a wet saw, I used the grinder to take the height down on technical tile cuts. Buy the time the job was done, and I used it mostly on maybe 14 tiles, the grinding action became compromised. Had I needed to do more with it, I probably would have bought another wheel in addition to this one.
For keeping metal blades sharp, it would be pretty decent, because you're not constantly pushing the envelope by wearing out a new wheel on ceramic tiles in a few days.

Kevin L.: I bought this to sharpen Tungsten TIG electrodes and found that it chipped away and channeled very fast. I know the electrodes are hard, but the wheel wore out much faster than I expected from a stone wheel.

D McKay: I'm replacing my grinding wheels with finer grit wheels and was concerned the arbors would be good enough quality. This wheel meets expectations as the arbor is sturdily made and mates with my grinder properly. A cheap arbor is dangerous.

duckysan1: I needed a fine sharpening wheel and have been impressed thus far. The only reason. I award 4 stars is balance was a little out. Easily rectified with dressing though.
