Chocolate Lover: These are great to protect toes. I use them because my big toe has started to slide underneath the toe next to it, which has caused a callus that rubs on my next toe. This helps keep my big toe in place and not rub as much on the next toe. These are really big though. Even on my big toe, they are bigger than I would prefer. I can't imagine trying to use it on one of my smaller toes (and I have a large big toe).
