Even though it does not rhyme and the drawings are not as detailed as the original book, my son still likes it and I got it for a dollar right after Valentine’s Day. Buy it knowing you are getting a book without rhymes and detailed drawings.

It’s an okay story. It comes with valentines which is neat. BUT I just think if you bought this because you liked the rhythm/writing of the original you would be disappointed - it’s not written anything like the first, it just has the characters.
