Shem Miller: We have two cats and they both love playing with it! The battery last a good amount of time depending on how much they play with it. I definitely recommend changing it before it dies so it flops around at a good speed. Only complaint is the charging cable it came with died after the first 3 times we charged it.

MK Cutting: My cats are picky, they played better with the fish after I put it under a newspaper. When they saw the motion, then they went wild! I'm amazed it holds a charge for a long time. Most toys styled like this are done after 7-10 minutes. Grest toy.

Larissa Blanz: I was a bit more excited for this than my cat, she’s a bit skittish so she’s a bit afraid of it. However she uses it, not as much as I’d hoped. It is still a great toy and would recommend! However I still haven’t figured out how to sometimes turn it off it sometimes just shakes and won’t turn off after patting it (or slapping it violently lol) but I’ll just let it run after five min it shut off anyway.

Esther Kim: I had such high expectations for how my cat would respond to this toy. It's interactive, there's silvervine in it in addition to catnip, and it has a 4.1 star rating with over 47K reviews. And the toy itself is great! It was easy to charge the motor and then install it in the toy along with the catnip pouch. And the fish was wonderful about detecting nearby motion and activating its flopping motion. It turns out, though, that I had underestimated how entitled and picky my cat is. He did come up to inspect it at the beginning, and when it starts flopping he will watch it for several seconds. But then he walks away. I tried playing with him using the toy and he swatted at it one time and then ignored it the rest of the time. I thought that he would react to silvervine since he doesn't care about catnip, but I guess I was wrong. Still giving this product a 5 star rating though bc the product itself seems to be high quality and it does what it's supposed to... it's my cat who does not do what I want him to. I reached out to Potaroma's customer service team to see what suggestions they had. Unfortunately none of their suggestions worked, but I appreciate that they tried to help me. And...

Nancy: It's probably due to the catnip sachet, but my cat grabbed on to this fish immediately. I love that it is rechargeable and won't eat up my batteries.

Sometimes the motion detection startles my cat a bit, but overall it has provided entertainment. Good toy overall. If I had any critique, I would wish it were a bit smaller. I think my cat is a bit daunted by its size, but it is a fairly realistic fish size.
