Dal Taylor: I bought this for short walks with my Mastiff/Rotti, and he usually doesn't drink much on a short run, but we took it in the car on a long drive and he absolutely drained that thing every time we stopped! Works great, cleans easy, and so easy to take with. Just wish it was larger for big dogs!

R. Markham: My dog will inhale water given the chance. We were struggling to get the bowl, get the bottle of water, pour the bottle, and she's eagerly got her head in the bowl already and we're gonna get her wet - it was just a big mess for everyone involved. This is fantastic - she even knows it's 100% for her and will knock on it with her nose in the car when she wants water. Easy to give to her while driving as a passanger since you can use the button to also put the water back in. It doesn't hold a lot of fluid, but we've never needed to refill it during a 6hr car trip, but she is a small dog.

John Betts: My girlfriend and I added a miniature smooth coated Dachshund to our family and needed a convenient way to give him water on trips or walks instead of lugging around a water bottle and a dish for him to drink out of. This portable dog water bottle is awesome and makes things so easy! You literally just fill it up with water, press the button to let water into the "bowl" part of it, and any water remaining that your animal doesn't drink you can click the button again to allow it to go back into the water reservoir to save for later. The size is perfect and allows for it to fit literally almost anywhere to bring with you.
It's built well and hasn't leaked at all - if I had to write something "bad" about it, it would be that I had to return the item two times because they kept sending me a pink water bottle when I chose green, so finally on the third time they got it right; although it's not a huge issue it was pretty irritating.
