R&BR&B: We're redoing our FP's by removing the old fashioned glass doors and brought in a screen instead. We're also building box mantles not yet finished here, but we're excited that everything's coming along.

These screens were the perfect height and width for both fireplaces that are different widths. The outside mesh panels can sit more open or closed and we're able to adjust to both very nicely. They're sturdy and well made.

Packaging was good with no problems.

Amazon Customer: We had to replace our old screen that was a bit unstable and starting to fall apart. This screen is definitely a step up! We love the way it looks...adds a tough of elegance but isn't fussy like we saw with some of the others we looked at. Love it!

Kris G: I originally purchased this gate because, even though there is a mesh screen over my fireplace, my cats still managed to push it out of the way. At least twice I found one of my cats inside the fireplace while it was on! Just turning my back for a second and she would be inside! I was scared she would hurt herself. This gate is wonderful for keeping her away. And it looks great in front of the fireplace.

Even during the summer, when I'm not using the fireplace, I've used this gate to keep the cats out of other places. One time I was painting my kitchen and wanted to keep the cats upstairs but not locked up in a single room. I just put the gate on the stairs while I painted and it kept them all away. This gate has been incredibly useful all year round.
