jehanne: You can put two 4x6s on each page, or you can secure a bit larger photo vertically, one per page.
It seems to be sturdy and well put together and it loads from the inner edge, thus the photos are less iikely to loosen and fall out. It has a place to make some notes.
It has a substantial plastic covering over the outside and the material that the actual cover is made from seems quite sturdy. Mine is black. I will likely leave the plastic covering on, but you could just as well remove it if you wish.
You are not able to add any additional pages to it, that I can tell. But, the album seems to be of a good size anyway and there would probably be very little need to do so. It is bound like a book and there are no rings. I guess that as long as you are careful and don't abuse it, it seems sturdy enough. We will see when I get it filled with photos.
I just got it and my initial impression is that it looks pretty good. I have high hopes.
Should I get it filled with photos and it falls apart, I will let you know and review my rating. Many things are possible.
If it does behave well, I will likely order another one. So far, it looks good for the price and Pioneer seems...
