Julia Z: Pens are subjective, since not everyone wants the same thing in a writing instrument. I love this pen because it’s well-balanced and has a bit of heft to it. It feels good in my hand and it writes very smoothly. I also like the squishy part where you grip it - it keeps my hands from getting tired if I’m doing a lot of writing.

The Captain: I gave up on ball point pens almost 20 years ago and switched to gel pens that write darker and more consistently and feel solid in the hand. The entire ball point pen industry had become either overpriced foolishness or cut rate disposable junk in my opinion. Recently, I began a new endevour where I was absolutely required to use a ball point pen because of the surface I would be writing on. I read reviews, shopped, ordered half a dozen different pens, and this was the winner. This pen feels rock solid in my hand both in hot and cold environments, the ink is absolutely smooth with no skips or drops in coverage, and the body of the pen is sturdy in the hand and feels solid. The refills for the ink are inexpensive and slip right in just like they are designed to and the writing continues uninterrupted. I want another one. I am going to buy another one. You should buy this pen if you have to use ball point pens. Polit hit the ball out of the park with this pen. Absolutely fantastic.

Shopper: It feels uncomfortably heavy, and all the weight is in the top end so it's an effort to hold it. Not at all what I was expecting for this price point. For ergonomic comfort, I much prefer cheap disposable Papermate profile ballpoint pens.

whitney: If you like a thicker pen to hold with a little weight theses are great. Not super heavy but weightier than the basic cheaper pens. Grip is really nice to hold too. I’ve had to keep a close eye on it though as everyone who picks it up in my office tries to sneak off with it.
