Mary S.: This toy is really cute. I let my cat inspect it before turning on the sound because I didn't want to spook him, it's kind of loud for a purr and clangy sounding. It turns on with the press of a good sized and easy to find button through the fabric. The purr lasts about a minute and i find if it's laying on the speaker side, then it's more realistic sounding. The pitch of the purr goes up and down so it would be pretty natural sounding when muffled. The material is very soft and fluffy but it's flat, there is no stuffing. My cat loved it and dragged it to the top of his tower and sat with it, playing with the fuzzy tail. I think if it did have stuffing my cat would have difficulty toting it around. The sound definitely gets draws him to it as he comes running from another room when i turn it on. It should be movement activated i think because the button is not made for the soft pushes a cat makes. A dog would probably break it without stuffing so i gave it 4 stars for those 2 reasons.

Ryan: This definitely a good quality toy and is built well but my cat is scared of the actual purring noise that it creates unfortunately. Once it starts to make the noise he stops wanting to interact with it until it stops hopefully he will warm up to it but it is still very well built .

K Paul: It seems to be of adequate durability and it's cute. My cat looked at it with interest and then I turned on the purr... big mistake! He looked at me like I had not only offended him but all of his ancestors back to the beginning of time! The purr is VERY loud and I'm sure to sensitive cat ears sounded like a roaring train or something. Now he won't come near it and if I put it next to him (without sound) he literally kicks it away. All cat toys are hit or miss depending on the cat so it is what it is. Cute idea though!

GKAT: At first my cat seemed disinterested so I left it next to him on the couch. Next thing I know, his lil furry head is laying on it. Eventually when he changed positions, I turned on the purring. Shemara Lakin: Not sure how the microwave part works, needs clearer instruction booklet with it on care and use. The packet pops in microwave. It's also smaller than I thought for a pillow pet, I wish it was a little larger. However my cat likes it, I tried to get my female cat to like it and she doesn't, but my male cat loves to cuddle it. I bought it for him when he was sick and recovering from surgery and blocked urinary tract and infection. He was sad and miserable and stressed, when I added the toy to his bed he would lay his head across it and relax. Happy about this toy, I call it his cuddly now and he knows what I'm talking about.

The purring sloth is also something he loves ,when he was recovering and shaking in pain id push the purr button and he'd relax and lay his head across the sloth.....he loves both these little cuddly toys. Both could be a little larger though, otherwise it was a good investment for my picky cat.

SGR: The media could not be loaded.  Il est doux mais pas rembourré, il est facile à mettre en route il faut juste appuyer sur son nez. Je trouve juste le ronronnement très fort, par contre si le chat se couche dessus il ressentira aussi une légère vibration (invisible à l’oeil nu) qui rend le tout plus réaliste.

Transition to home was done quickly due to the situation and not having enough time to do it as I wish I could’ve.

I crate train my kitten to have him build confidence and his first night was awfull. Him being used to be out in an outdoor grange spending his day between wood logs and the other kittens of his litter, he was terrified of being indoor.
The noises, the different smells, the lights, vibrations of the floor, everything.
The poor one spent his night crying and meowing.

I needed something to soothe him. I started looking only for soothing kitten must haves/toys/aids and found this toy. The texture and plush on the head part is perfect as the rest is empty. The purring sound really mimics a real cat purring sound. I was afraid it would sound really fake but no!

His first day home after his first terrible night, we received it as I had bought it during the night, being unable to sleep and to sooth the poor kitten as quick as possible.

Tina: I bought 2 Comfort Purr Snoozin Sloths for our 2 cats & 2 dogs after spending one night looking at all the adorable photos posted on Amazon of Cats, Kittens, Dogs & Puppies cuddling their Sloths and Purple Purring Mama Kittyz. Our 2 dogs are Rescue Pups, one is 15 & we adopted her from our City's Shelter. She was found wandering on the streets & had been horribly abused; we had to teach her how to play w/toys, go on a walk on a leash, we left her once to go on vaca & her fur fell out! We take her now or don't go. She still eats in the dining room in a corner where she is by herself. Our newest rescue is a Beagle-Chihuahua mix who Yodels, and is worse! She's 2 1/2yo now and we've had her 2yrs, she's has had lots of private lessons. My hub has to walk her alone bc she guards my hub like the Royal Jewels. She could get out of any harness and felt a toddler was A Threat! She sits next to me the entire time Hub walks our 15yo Spaniel & Shakes until he returns; does this when he runs errands, too. So my plan is to use it tomorrow when he leaves. They said it had a inside pad you could warm in the microwave... Missing? Purr Noise isn't loud and All Pets were...
