The PetSafe Treat Pouch Sport is the perfect solution for any pet owner looking for a durable, convenient dog training accessory. This product is made from water and stain-resistant fabric that can withstand frequent use, and the water-resistant PVC-lined treat pocket makes cleaning quick and easy. The pouch also features a front pocket and metal carabiners, allowing you to easily carry a smartphone, keys, potty bags, or training tools. With its excellent build quality, capacity, design, and easy maintenance, this treat pouch is the best choice for storing your dog's food. Jonas G.: I ended up getting this pouch because you can simply carry it around your waist and don't need to wear pants with belt loops to clip the pouch to.
Furthermore it is fairly big and offers just enough space to carry about 300g of kibble which is my dogs whole portion for the day and makes it easier to just fill it up in the morning and not having to go back and refill it multiple times during the day. It just makes it easier to gauge how much food I have already given out and how much remains for the rest of the day.
The opening and closing mechanism seems pretty durable and is easily opened with one hand but also stays completely shut to prevent any unwanted spilling or god forbid your dog attempting to steal any food pieces.
The front pocket has two velcro pieces left and right which make for a nice poop bag dispenser since you can just pult it out in between. However since it's only velcro, pulling too hard may just open the pocket and leave you with the whole roll in your hand. I don't even know if this was designed for that purpose but maybe two buttons would make it a little sturdier.
Last but not least the snap hook on the right hand side. I wish...

Joanne L.: These are great for treats and ability to keep them open with the hinges style opening. They don’t last too long but the hinge feature is harder and harder to find. Durable fabric.

attilio: Molto comodo, il laccio per legare il marsupio in vita si allarga molto, il il marsupio in sé è molto leggero e l'apertura all'inizio è un po rigida, con il tempo si allenta un pochino. Articolo ben fatto e molto resistente.

DelVecchio family: TLDR: I highly recommend this product to new pet parents as a first treat pouch because it is one of the most comfortable pouches to wear regularly which means it will be easier to break into a training session or reward good behavior at a moments notice
If you want something even more low profile go for the mini version of the pouch, smaller and cheaper, same great pouch
I first used this brand of treat pouch at a service dog org I interned at several years ago and since then it has been one of my favorites, I have purchased several both for myself and friends/family who get dogs.
Things I love about it:
-Low profile, many other treat bags are bulky and just begging to be overfilled. This is very important, because it means that it is more comfortable to wear more often, so you will be more likely to have treats on you when your dog or puppy does something treat worthy.
-Strong hinge that stays open but is easy to close whenever wandering noses sniff out treats
A pouch that stays open is important to me because it speeds up rewards when my pup is on a roll
-Small separation for jackpot treats ( I think this is a better idea than execution, but I still...

Jeff H: Last year, I purchased a bag-style treat bag with cinch string and while that worked well, I didn't realize how much better this one until I tried it out. Since misplacing the bag, I was very content to use my jacket pockets which were large enough to easily and quickly get treats. Now that the weather is warmer though, I found I needed something better than my shirt or pants pocket. And while I thought this treat pouch was on the expensive side (at least in my mind), I'm really glad I got it. It makes dispensing treats so much easier. For the rest of the review, I'll do a series of question and answers.
What was wrong with the pants or shirt pocket?
Most of my pants pockets, while large on the inside, don't allow the kind of quick treat retrieval needed for extensive training. It became difficult to grab a treat especially if there was something else in the pocket. As for the shirt pocket, let's just say that any time I leaned down Nova got a "jackpot" treat.
If you liked the old bag-style, why not get another one?
It was fine, but the main reason I got it was because it was cheap (I think maybe $5). I couldn't find it again for the same price and this one got...
