Tommy H.: I've tried other marking products and I've ALWAYS had to use more than the recommended strength to be able to see were I've used it. One common product that gets great reviews, I had to use twice as much just to see it, costing me twice as much, but not PetraTools Blue Herbicide Lawn Dye. The first time I used this, it was so dark on my cement that I thought, "great, I can see it but now it won't go away." It took a little longer, but id disappeared by the afternoon of the next day. I've used this twice and can see it just fine. I can tell exactly where I've sprayed. Next time I'm going to try and reduce the ratio and see if that works. If so it will save me even more money.

Daniel Ramirez: If you follow the directions, this produces a very clear blue color, even in the sun, wherever you spray. Super useful so that you don't overspray lawn chemicals. It lasts for a few days and then completely disappears which is exactly what you want. Since you use so little, it seems like a good value for the quality product you get. So far, I've used it in two different sprayers and after a quick rinse, no significant leftover blue color in the sprayers which was nice.

I would love to see:
- A better bottle: If you tip this on the side, it seems to come out a bit. That means, blue hands as you handle the product and you MUST store this bottle up right. Good luck if it tips over in your shed. From my hands and my shirt, I didn't have too much trouble eventually getting the blue out, but I would suggest wearing your "this shirt is already messed up so I use it for gardening" shirt. In general, clothes you don't care about too much just in case it doesn't come out of your specific fabric.

- A built-in measure device: honestly I started with a plastic spoon but now just eyeball it. You can always add a tad more as needed.

Trinity: It works well except you have to use about 2+ oz in a 2.5 gal sprayer for it to work well on thistles and knapweed. I'm spot spraying in pastures and open terrain and if you use less, you'll end up spraying the same thistle more than once. I would buy more except the price is too high. Best I've used was Hi-Light. If this gets on your skin, it does NOT wash off easy. Yet, even with a good dose of surfectant, you need it mixed in stronger with Canadian Thistle, Knapweed, etc so you can see it. With Hi-Light I can wear my sunglasses and spray, with this, I cannot wear my sunglasses. If it was priced closer to $18, it'd be worth it.
I use a defoamer and this may be why I have to use more??? I'm just guessing. It's the only thing I could think was why I have to use more of this vs Hi-Light.

When I sprayed some Canadian Thistle rosettes that exploded after we just had some rain the night before, it wasn't until I increased the dye amount that it stuck well and showed. They were NOT wet before spraying. Since I carry my supplies with me on my vehicle, it was easy enough to figure out what I needed to do as I went. Hope this helps.
