Clarice N: I was looking for something to help one of my dogs during fireworks. She gets terrified by the noise. Not surprising as she had a bullet in her leg when I got her from the shelter. After the first new year fireworks, I had hoped she would be better because she would be more comfortable at our home. Unfortunately, she was just as scared the following Fourth of July. So I got the Hemp Calm. What a huge difference. Now she can sleep through loud thunder and fireworks. She is so much more relaxed if I give these in anticipation of these situations.

Dewayne Willoughby: Seems to work okay for my dogs, it is not prescription strength, but will help when it is time for bed.

KH: I've used these for a while now, prolly my 2nd or 3rd jar. They work OK. I noticed as my dog's 'storm anxiety' got worse that these stopped really helping. I had to use 4 chews last time to even get her to lay down or be calm. For my younger dog with less anxiety, 1-2 chews works great for her.
Then today as I was going to re-order, I noticed that the zesty-brand had 240mg for ONE chew (while these have 100mg in TWO chews). So yeah, I'm switching folks! I LOVE petHonesty & use other products, but this one (especially as "max" strength) is just not IMHO the best option. Les for more $$!

Erika S. Hanson: I have been concerned with my corgi puppies behavior since the beginning. I have had other puppies but none showed this behavior. She wouldn't sleep, couldn't stop panting, and her heart rate never seemed to slow. Despite exercise, even to a mildly excessive point for a puppy that age, it was not possible for her to calm herself. Despite high-calorie food she kept loosing weight and biting at the sky. We were at our wits' end. I tried other calming treats, but you would think I didn't give her anything.
I gave her one according to the instructions and once again, nothing happened. I decided to risk it and give her two because she her behavior seemed to be getting worse despite the "stimulation/attention diet" and plenty of exercise. She was panting 24/7 and constantly biting the air. I felt horrible, but I tried giving her two the next day. It seems to have done the trick. She is still active and running around to play, but she isn't panting unless she is being active and she takes some breaks when she needs them. The snapping of the air significantly decreased. Between the training methods for active puppies and the treatment, she is acting more like a normal, active...

GEEGEE: Our 9 month old 55 pound 1st generation mini-Golden-Mountain-Doodle is now a rambunctious and sweet family member. Because of his high energy level and obsessive food drive, we occasionally give him a small portion of this product with good results. He is much calmer but hasn’t decreased his food drive unfortunately. However, if we give him more than a big pinch off one end of a treat, he acts like he’s hallucinating. He acts strangely - looks around as if he doesn’t know where he is and walks around lost. Sometimes he even gets hyper but, again, because he’s out of touch. I just do not understand how this could happen. I haven’t checked the expiration date, but will do so. Has anyone else noticed this change in behavior?
