Carl Smith: I’ve watched some of Paul Clark’s great video tutorials and this book did not disappoint. Beautiful to look at and good step by step guides to painting different subject areas eg landscape and still life.

Chris Determan: I bought this book for my wife. She stumbled on Paul Clark while searching watercolor videos on YouTube a couple years ago. She really enjoys his tutorials and says he's witty. I'm not??? I'm glad I was able to find this book on Amazon for her. She's been absorbing it like a sponge ever since! Fortunately, it arrived in excellent condition.

Anglian Traveller: Paul Clark is a fabulously talented watercolour artist whose video demonstrations of watercolour techniques on his Youtube channel are some of the best and most useful content for any aspiring artist.
He promotes this book on his Youtube channel, so I ordered it.
Thing is, there is nothing in the book which you won’t learn from watching his Youtube channel; in fact the Youtube channel has wider and more varied content for techniques.
That said, the book itself is very well produced and presented. It’s a softcover of manageable dimensions to be portable, and the artistic images are of very high quality. I have no idea how many of these books Mr. Clark has sold, but I wish him every success. If you’re on a budget and have a good internet connection, my advice would be to watch the videos and learn that way, as you may then watch the actual techniques in action in real time.
