Heather: Granted it didn’t last long but my umbrella cockatoo had a blast ripping it to pieces. Even the hanger was colorful and fun for her to play with. Extra bonus, the hanging parts can be reused.

Cindy Bennett: I got this for my female budgie for times I need her in her cage (usually for time-out or when I need her to be outside and enjoy fresh air whilst in her cage). She doesn’t like her cage and will tear things up while the cage is shut so this thing is great! She needs to be a bird sometimes and having this toy provides plenty of enrichment for her (essentially, she just takes her frustration on the toy rather than the newspaper on the bottom, fling food out of her dish bowls, or pretends to be stuck in a corner and chirps for me to come get her).

Oregonpeeps: Parrot pulls all the toys out and throws them on the ground, but then spends a ton of time playing with the basket, putting it on his head and yelling "I'm over here!" and all kinds of other shenanigans. He has fun watching me pick up all the toys and put them back in the basket, and then we do it all over again. Keeps him busy when he's in his house, sometimes he shares the toys with the cats. Good, clean fun.

Asantel: I bought this for my quaker parrot and he absolutely loved it! The only downside is that if you have a very destructive parrot this will not last very long. He managed to empty the basket and chew up half of the contents within 24 hours. The basket survived so I can refill it with remaining items and other things/ treats. Maybe a bit pricey for the lifespan of the toy but he really enjoyed it!

Linda A: My Grey allowed this toy to live in her cage for only a few hours and then it was gone. She had a blast but I don't think I'd get another one simply because of its ease of destruction. Which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But it's a really cute toy with different textures, and It might be more suitable and last longer for a smaller bird or maybe a Grey who is not as obsessive as mine is.

Gina Central: My keets are still a little leery of it but its literally as stuffed as it appears. I suspect in a month or two they will tear into it. Thats how they roll just when you think they hate a toy they rip it to compete shreds 4 days later.
Update:03/31/2016 --- AFTER several months of being in their cage I am now seeing the basket be chewed on and the items that are tucked into it on the bottom of the cage. It will probably last for another month or two at the rate they are going. So they must have decided its no longer evil and won't kill them. My keets are hilarious they will either go after something right off the bat or they decide its the devil and will wait 3 to 6 months to then decide it is now worthy of being destroyed.
Update: 09/15/2016--- Oh the sad remains dangle as a cautionary tale for any future toys in the keets cage. This toy was lovingly disemboweled by my super destructive female keet Jilly. I call her "the destroyer" behind her back. It took her a while as for a month, she fell in love with one of the woven rolls and was dragging it here and there for days for some reason. Then she went into full on demo mode for the past two weeks. She screams at her...

Michelle (Michy) Devon: When I first put this small basket into my conure's cage, he didn't give it any attention. After I moved it to his shelf, so he could get to it easier, he started to play with some of the items inside. It took him a few days to acclimate to it being in his cage, but once he did, he would stand on top and pull and pull to try to get the toys out of it. They are tightly packed in there. First, he pulled out the crinkled paper, one strip at a time, shredded each piece, threw them to the bottom of the cage, and then went back for the finger trap toys. He destroyed one of them but the other four are still on his shelf, in various stages of destruction.
He loves the grassy nesting material and will burrow under it. He tosses and chews on the popcicle sticks and the other wooden spoons. Now, about every three or four days, I'll take his things that he's thrown out of his basket and stuff them back in to the basket. This starts the foraging process all over again. This last time, though, he pulled everything out much faster, and he's started chewing on the basket itself. I watched him chew off the little plastic pieces on the front of the basket--quite frankly, I'll probably take...

SmartHouse: Awesome toy, my lovebirds love it. It is a bit pricy though. The basket itself isn't destroyed as much as my lovebirds don't chew on it. The fingertraps, popsicle sticks and cardboard got destroyed quickly. I like to replace the fingertraps with new ones that I buy off amazon. I add small toys into the basket like pieces of old toys and crinkle paper to keep it interesting and fun. So although it is a bit pricey, it is a good toy. However, I wouldn't reccomend to people with larger birds as it would probably get destroyed quickly.
