Sabrina Lanasa: I love my cat, but I don’t always feel like playing and this toy basically took my place. It’s amazing. I hung it from a doorway and my cat just occupies herself running ariund and jumping at it and trying to catch it when it bounces up and down and swings around. Best toy ever

Lars: My cat really enjoys playing with the variety of toys. He chewed the handle and made a hole at the bottom so keep out of reach when it is not being used. The retractable parts are flimsy and don’t work well after a month or two but still a good product.

Lilith: My cats are a little picky, they love toys on a string but only *the perfect ones*. This toy 100% captured their attention, to the point where they would drag it over to me to play!!

Much more durable than similar options at walmart, petco, etc, but if you have rowdy cats like me it will eventually break. The rod is still holding very strong, but they like the fishing line and after chewing on it I've had to tie a couple knots in it.

But! They love it so much after they finally broke the line for good, im re-ordering a new one for them.

You also get a LOT for what you pay for, lots of attachments and my cats absolutely love the worms (which also have held up 100%, very impressive compared to the walmart variety that they shred w/in an hour)

Tl;Dr : the line will break if your cats like to chew, but besides that extremely sturdy, and lots of extra stuff for how cheap it is. My cats love it.

Lydia: I'm so glad I took a chance on this toy - my cat absolutely loves it! Especially the feather attachments. No other toy has ever made him as excited as this one. We've started playing with it every night at a certain time, and he's come to expect it. He'll start meowing, he'll even go retrieve the toy from the shelf, to alert me that it's play time!

Most of the attachments have bells on them, which neither of us care for, so, I cut the bells off, and now he likes all the attachments. Sometimes I'll leave an attachment out, not connected to the "fishing rod", and he'll toss that around like he wound a standalone toy.

Do your cat a favor and buy this!

LetitiaLetitia: The media could not be loaded.  Our cats LOVE these toys. All we have to do is walk around with them and they chase us. They love the fish wand. Our grey & white cat goes CRAZY over the feather attachments on the fishing pole. We zip the feathers through the air and he leaps like we’ve never seen him before. We can take off the attachment and both cats just chase the connector piece. It’s really cute.

Just be really gentle though because I can see both poles snapping easily if the cats are rough with it. Our cat has a tendency to lay on the feathers when he captures them. We just unhook it so he can “kill” his catch. There’s plenty of attachments to replace it with. I highly recommend this!

Update: We’ve had this set for 4 months now. I have to purchase a 2nd set of these because our one cat has grown an attachment to the steel rod fish toy. He carries it every where & wants you to play with him. We actually had to hide the fishing pole since both our cats just love it. We don’t even need to attach anything to it, they’ll just chase around the connector (that we make sure is securely closed). One cat destroyed most of the feather...

Andria M. Simpson-Russell: The media could not be loaded.  HOLY SCHNITZEL!! My owner, Dorotha Thankful , or "Dora", loves and I mean LOVES these toys more than anything she's got ESPECIALLY the "fishing tod" with the little "worms". She will literally drag her "stick" around the house and drop it at our feet to tell us "Hey Human!!! Pick up my stick and play or I will torment you for HOURS until you do!" And she does! I actually had to buy a second set because she actually broke the rod (twice actually, repaired once with a chop stick of all things) because while she's trying to find me while dragging it she would get it stuck and snapped the rod. Her favorite attachment is the little "worms" although she loves the feathers too she loves to shred them more than catch them. The other little rod she also enjoys and it's so convenient for us to stock it into a couch or chair cushion so she can lay down and play but her preference is most definitely the rod.

The convenience of being able to swap toys with the fishing snap is GENIUS! When she's basically shredded one worm but it still has a little life, attaching a second worm w/ bell is a massive winner! The bells are also a HUGE HIT, in fact she...

Tara: I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews but I had to with this one..
I bought it as a Christmas present for my cats but I have horrible patience so as soon as it arrived I took it out to try it.
My cat immediately became obsessed with catching whatever was on the end of this thing. It's like it had the perfect color, the perfect jiggliness, the perfect jerkiness to it. I've never seen him play so much and so easily! I also didnt even realize it came with TWO handheld cat dangly devices!

My other cat was mostly terrified of the toy, but I'm satisfied. It's also really good quality, doesn't look like it will break at all and there is a huge variety of ends to choose from. 10/10 would buy again, but I won't even have to because it's going to last!
