andrea clarke: The white strip holds dirt. So even after wipe down it does not look clean. I wish I could have got black.
It won't mould around the bottom of the toilet without puckering. So dirt and urine sits behind it.
It has slight shrinkage so butted up joints soon begin to look dirty and messy.
It's ideal for long straight lengths but will still look grubby after a short while.

Old Alice: Caulk strip typically comes with TWO different peel off papers in the back, so you can fold it into the corner bend position, ensure you have it firmly in the corner first, then peel off the other half for a perfect seal. This means that if you mess up and need to pull it off the wall to reposition, you only damage a small section of the adhesive at a time.

This is 1 solid strip of backing paper. This makes it extremely difficult to apply without pulling the entire section off to reposition several times, which then ruins the adhesive. The material itself is also different from the other 2 brands I've tried. It's not as white, tho not yellow enough to be off white or beige. The color is just weird, like putty. On a snow white tile, it shows.

I take points off for adhesion as well. This is because when using caulk strip, you want the longest continuous section possible, to avoid a break that can leak, and for appearance. When doing a 10' tall wall corner, you have to pull it off and reposition multiple times. There goes your adhesion, even if it has great holding power. Unik: These strips provide a nice finish but it does not stay adhered to the wall/floor. I had this lined across CLEANED floorboards, around a DRY bathroom's sink, and for a kitchen countertop molding and it did not stay put for more than a day. This is an EASY fix with some good double-sided tape but an inconvenience if you didn't know that you needed it prior to ordering. The caulk strips are nice and thick, easy installation plus removable. They look nice once applied with the extra help (IE: double-sided tape) so I still give these 3-stars. I hope this helps :)

EKH: Easy to use. One roll was extra sticky and worked great. Another was ok with the first 3 feet not adhering as well as the rest of the same roll. Plan to try hair dryer technique to see if that helps. Overall satisfied.

LaniLani: This was worked great! I have bought caulking tape before and never was provided with the handy little tool! It really helped. Down side is, it does not come with instructions, but knowing what I do about tape products I made sure to completely clean the old caulk off the tiles and tub. Once I was done scrapping all it off, by making sure it felt smooth, I clean the area with rubbing alchohol. Allowed everything to dry, even took a paper towel to make sure the alchohol was dry, applied the caulking type, used clear silicone on the edges of the tape, and let it dry overnight. Boom!!! Beautiful! Most importantly, no leaks into the appartment downstairs
