David Howland: I've been choosing this popcorn as my salty snack for about a month now. I've lost about 7lb in two months counting calories and making wise choices. People would like to have you believe weight loss should happen fast. The truth is making healthy choices and maintaining a calorie deficit over years is the answer, and this popcorn helps. Is it going to taste like movie theater popcorn out of the bag? No. It's a bit dry with a bit of artificial butter and salt, but you are making a good choice for yourself when you select this popcorn. It's a lot of food to fill you up and it helps quell that craving for crunchy, salty food. Add a little salt or low calorie popcorn flavoring and it will taste fine and you will see results start stacking up.

Sam Bravern: If you're used to eating the "full butter" "regular" stuff the Smart Pop s going to seem a bit "dry" to you as the only thing they really did was hold back on the fake butter/oil to reduce the calories while keeping the salt (sodium) about the same (maybe a little lower). That's typical as most "Lite" Low Calorie foods they make them still taste appealing by not scaling back the sugar and salt. Unless you got the "no butter" plain microwave popcorn, this is probably the best compromise to be found for "healthier" microwave popcorn that still tastes decent.

Peter:
I picked these up for when I'm craving a snack in the evening while watching TV or playing a game. They taste good and the calories are pretty low for how filling these are. I also like them because their not as greasy as other products like this so I can eat them while gaming without making a mess of my keyboard or mouse.
Price is decent too--better than costco if you can even find the smart pop type.

Mark B.:
This is an excellent product! The popcorn is delicious and not greasy.
I followed the instructions exactly, except that I unfolded the bag so
the top and bottom were about thirty degrees above horizontal
before popping, so the pressure of the popcorn would not have to unfold it.
(Not completely flat -- there's a buried layer of aluminum foil in the central
section that heats up and does the popping.) Also I stopped the microwave
when the popping rate was down to about 2 per second, slightly sooner
than they recommend, to avoid burning. The "best by" date is March 2017.
I ordered it on July 8, 2016. The cost is 52 cents per bag -- 72 bags for $37.68.

Denise E.: I love this popcorn and the price on amazon was cheaper than my grocery store. Most of the kernel's pop and it is just salty enough for my taste. Too, it is a great crunchy snack with less calories than chips. I ordered this on September 18 and, with tax, was $30 and some change. Imagine my surprise to return a month later to discover it had gone from $30 to $50. Don't understand the price increase and will hold off ordering until more reasonable.
***Update of 10/17/21--I got a notice my review had been approved so checked and the price has gone down to a reasonable price. Yay! Will reorder when needed.
