Iain: I wasn't given the item for free or at a discount. I review a very small percentage of what I buy, I just don't have the time to be that active on here. I try to make sure I've lived with the item and if there are issues give the supplier a chance to respond. Issues have been a rare experience even for someone as picky as me :-)
Quicker than expected delivery and well packaged. I'm not a big fan of chewy sweets but my partner is and this is her favourite by far. These huge bags don't last long. If you are vegetarian then I would double and triple check, they certainly don't contain gelatine but the colouring needs to be checked to be completely sure.
Footnote: I'm a little fed up with the Amazon review structure, a recent lightening deal I was considering hit home a long held view and prompted me to add this forward. Reading the left hand column of reviews, the item had numerous 5 star reviews from 'Top 100 Reviewers', 'Top 500 Reviewers' and 'Vine Voices'. On the right hand side, the most recent reviews, it was a contradicting story; quite a few 1 star reviews, some 2 stars and a minority of 4 and 5 stars. It highlights the failings of a professional reviewer...
