K. Varraso: This is a very tasty tea, warming and delicious when I need something that tastes like a warm sweater feels. I'd like it a lot better if it had more cardamom and far, far fewer cloves. I like cloves, but not when it is the primary flavor in my tea. I took one of the little pyramid tea bags, opened it, removed all but one of the cloves, and made the tea that way. It tasted much better, and I had nearly enough cloves for a (small) ham.

A. Burke:
If I had to pick a favorite type of tea, it would definitely be Chai. It's energizing black tea with a mixture of flavorful aromas, and it hits the spot during my afternoon break. With their Organic Masala Chai, Nature's Guru pretty much went the standard route, which isn't a bad thing by any means. You get a black tea with pepper, nutmeg, star anise, and cardamom. But the flavors which really shine through are ginger and clove.
As with most Chai, it really is just black tea and spices. So there's no sugar, fiber, sodium, or fat to speak of. It comes in a 24-count box, but the bags aren't individually packaged. So, once opened, you're probably going to want to use them quickly (or reseal them in an airtight bag).
Overall, I like it. It's pretty much what you'd expect out of a chai tea. But next I'll have to make a latte out of it!

Nerd Alert:
With chai teas, everyone will have a different opinion on the right level of spice. This tea is not too strong, but has enough spice to satisfy me. The spices themselves are typical of chai, and the balance is just right. There is no harsh or overbearing spice that overwhelms the rest. The black tea is also surprisingly nice and clean, with little bitterness. It doesn't taste like the sawdust stuff they like to sometimes use for chai, hoping the spices will cover the bad flavor.
Overall, one of the best chai teas sold in a bag that I've had. Now, to fight the urge to add a bunch of milk and sugar...

W.T.Hoffman: This is a pretty good version of Masala Chai (spiced tea). Using whole leaf Assam tea, they add cinnamon, ginger and cloves, cardamom, star anise, peppercorns, and nutmeg. Those are the same spices I like to use, when I make Masala chai at home, The star anise in the mix, adds a lot of sweet overtones. For a 14 ounce cup of tea, use two bags, brew for five minutes. Since its spiced tea, you need to sweeten it, or else the spices will taste a big like dirt... the sweetener brings out the spice flavor. Plus, I always add some milk, since this is a tea recipe from India. In China, adding milk to tea is an insult. Some Masala chia with peppercorns, will have a bite to it, however, rest assured, this tea isn't hot - spicy. I suppose the black peppercorns just adds a bit of warmth, that connects to the ginger. Likewise, the nutmeg connects to the cinnamon, and the cloves connect to the star anise. Nicely balanced, not too strong, not bad at all for tea in a tea bag.
