Jamie: As with all lactose free dairy products, this one is excellent! I actually find lactose free to better tasting than regular dairy!) I just can’t understand why Amazon Fresh is out-of-stock so often and for such long periods of time-so far , two weeks this time. Amazon Fresh really needs to find a better method for ordering stock! Especially now that they are charging for delivery, even their Prime members, unless you spend a minimum $150. I usually have to go without because most grocery stores don’t carry this. And I think Organic Valley is the only brand that makes lactose free half and half; at least, I’ve never found another brand that makes it! Not even Lactaide!

Christin Sears: I can have half & half again!!! Being that I developed lactose intolerance in college, I had the unfortunate lot of knowing how much I LOVE dairy products, especially cream-based things and cheese! So naturally, I always scan the dairy section with some shred of hope that there may be a dairy alternative to some of my favorite things. The ones that always came up short was half & half and heavy cream!! There were coconut-based options for heavy cream but I never liked how overpowering the coconut tends to be in its alternates. SOOO happy there’s now a REAL half&half option with the added lactase enzyme to save my tummy from total destruction and mayhem LOL! I also think it’s great that it’s real dairy because I’m always looking to replenish the much needed calcium in my diet.
Also- for those who are interested…. I HAVE found a fantastic heavy cream alternative too! Country Crock makes a plant-based version that is not coconut based! It comes in a little red and white carton (the same kind that chicken broth tends to be sold in, but smaller).
