rachel: Simply the best assam tea you will find on Amazon. It’s so wonderful. Many of their teas are special but this one is worth every penny!

Gail Campayne:
One of the best Chai tea mixes I have tried. It reminds me some of the Maharaja Chai mix from Teavana. Flavorful and aromatic.
Please be aware that you need a tea maker/strainer with this as it is loose and not in bags.

Sarah: I have not tried any other chai teas, so I feel a bit biased here. But I enjoy this flavor! It's really smooth to me and I have to hold myself back from drinking a lot because it seems to disappear super fast, even though I'm the only one who drinks it in my house. One minute the container is full, and then I blink and it's almost empty! I will eventually try other chai teas, and I'm not an expert. I will say that I agree with another review that was on here. To avoid it being bitter, take 1 1/2 cups and boil it with the tea in there (I have tea infusers) for 3 minutes I believe, take the tea out, then put 1/3 cup of milk (I do 1/2 cup at times) then let that boil for 2 minutes and drink it! I have boiled it with the tea, then put cold milk in so I can drink it faster, but I've also steeped it and it is a bit more bitter but I still enjoy it.

SoCalDogfather: First off, I am a long-time Earl Grey fanatic. I drink more EG than anything else. I have had what I consider to be the perfect Earl Grey and have since found myself ever-searching for another. This one isn't it -- but it's pretty darn good, IMO -- among the best, out of some 20+ brands I've tried over the years. When you open the pouch, you notice two things right away -- a fresh black tea with gorgeous blue cornflowers and tiny gold cornflower ribbons -- and a strong, heady bergamot scent. The bergamot smells like it's sourced from a top quality oil (this tea is organic), clearly not artificial in any way -- and they are certainly generous in its use in this tea, to the point of being just a tad sharp tot he nose. Happily, that sharpness mellows considerably and translates brilliantly in the cup/glass, into a well-balanced but definitely bergamot-forward EG. For the price, this is a very good tea that I think will please even the more discriminating EG fan. I would rate this a solid 4. By comparison, I'd give Talyor's of Harrogate a 3.5 (good quality tea, but not enough bergamot IMO), Twining's a 3.5 (good standby, but unspectacular), and Adagio Earl...

Viktoriya: This tea is utterly disappointing. I had Malty Assam by Tao of Tea from the tin and it was exquisite. I bought the 1 pound bag under the company's deception practices that it is the same thing.
It is horrible.
It tastes like dust and dirt.
It is clearly old or not from the same quality, whatever it is, it is a waste of money.
And you cannot even return it, so you are stuck with it. Oh and the Earl Grey 1 pound bag fits this same description, you might think they are the same teas!
Absolutely apalling waste of money.
