They are very absorbent, durable and easy to clean. I know consider this a standard baby gift, especially for that age range. Melissa Smith Carroll: Yes, they are expensive. No doubt, the manufacturer is making money hand-over-fist for these burp cloths alone. But all baby item manufacturers know that parents are going to fork over the cash, so you might as well go ahead and purchase them. They are the best burp cloth we've tried among our five children.

Rebecca: We got two sets of these these burp clothes (white and multicolored) as baby shower gifts and they are so great that we bought two extra sets (another white and multicolored) after our baby was born so we would always have plenty on hand. Good absorbency and softness, great colors, and the shape is perfect for over the shoulder. Only complaint is that the blue one bleed in the wash...I learned that the hard way.

M019: These burp cloths are super soft but not as absorbent as I was hoping for. I've got an infant with reflux who spits up often and the green sprouts stay dry burp cloths were much more absorbent. These, however, are incredibly soft and my infant loves playing with them - he uses them almost like a mini blanket! They held up very well in the wash and look brand new after several washing cycles, which I can't say for the Aden & Anis muslin burp cloths I own. Overall, decent burp cloths, but for a bigger job, go for the stay dry variety.

Love Babies and Dogs: I bought these and the Anis and Ani ones. Honesty, these are slightly thinner, but I like them more than the A&A. These colors wash up wonderfully!!! You get a bit more for your money (these are still expensive!) and they basically work the same. I'm not trying to use one nasty burp cloth all day! I generally change after every few spit ups anyway, so these are a much better purchase. They have washed up better as well. The patterns on the A&A get faded and kind of hard after a while- I like these best! Just get them!
