This cereal has a very average to almost bland taste with the exception of the sweet, small marshmallows. There are some pieces shaped more like a plain frosted flake mixed in with the normal shaped pieces and I don't like that difference in texture; for whatever reason it bothers me when I'm eating it. My children (girls - 5 and 2.5 years old) don't even like this cereal. They prefer more adult cereals (organic Kashi and Cascadian Farms kinds) over this. I'm not sure that I'd buy it again, unfortunately.

I am Canadian and I am a Cocoa Krispy addict. I first discovered them as a toddler, when visiting family in the US. A sweet rice cereal that turns ordinary white milk into chocolate milk...what's not to love! Imagine my horror, when I discovered that my Mom couldn't buy them at home - they don't sell CK's in Montreal 😪. Luckily for my taste buds (and to my dentist's delight), my family always made several trips/year to the USA,. Before the trip, I would write a letter (yes, imagine a real letter!) to whichever relatives we were staying with and beg them to buy a box of CKs. So I was always able to get my fix.
So 40-something years later; I'm now all grown up (chronologically), but I still love my CKs. Shockingly though, they are still not sold in Montreal.
But, on one of my Amazon browsing sessions, I discovered a product that seemed quite similar, OMG! I even signed up for Prime, just to get them shipped faster. I was a little nervous, but excited when I tried them for the first time. Would they successfully quell my cravings?

As the saying goes you get what you pay for. It has a strong chocolate taste, and there's no artificial gunk in it. The box is fairly small for the price though. It tastes the best out of all the chocolate rice crisp cereal I've ever bought, however, so I still find myself going back to it.

My husband loves granola and we really struggled to find one that he really enjoyed. It was out of a whim I decided to order this for him and he absolutely loves it. It’s sweet, nutritious, and filling. Pairs great with yoghurt!
