Maja R: They play with this most days and still do 3 months on. That it's still going strong makes this a durable and good value toy, in my opinion. I sometimes spray this with catnip as a bonus treat.
Cats are most idiosyncratic in their personal preferences, but along with paperwork and an ice cube on a smooth floor... this has been a winner

Rhodophyllis: My cats go crazy over this apple. They toss it up and down, roll on their backs and kick it madly. The only problem is that with my cat door, other cats come on and steal it. I have lost 2 so far. I suspect I will eventually find them in the woods. I wish there was a Yeowww toy that could be tethered to a table leg or anchored in some way. But, it may be impossible as there might be a danger of a cord wrapping around a cat's neck. Guess I'll just have to keep watch when the sticky-clawed cats come in.

Amazon_Customer: I have previously has the little sardines by Yeowww, which my cat absolute loved, but the sardines didn't last very long as within half an hour my cat (who is known to be rather mouthy with her toys) had chewed them up to the point that they were basically just a little piece of slobbery fabric. Seeing how mych she loved them, I decided to get 2 Yeowww cat toys for my cats for Christmas, one being this one and the other being the Yeowww pollock. My cat loves this one just as much as the sardines, perhaps even more then the sardines, and this one seems alot more durable, she's played with this about 20 times already and it's holding up pretty well. I brought this toy as a Christmas present for my cat so I hid it in a draw until it was time to give it to my cat, she repeatedly went over the draw and meowed at it and scratches at it, trying to get in. They really do smell strong, and when I say strong I mean EXTREMELY strong, you can kind of smell them sometimes and they do not smell good, but my cat rely loves them so its worth it.

Alexandra: My cats love this apple catnip toy. I bought it because we named one of our kittens Ryuk - he has to have an apple! It is durable, even with my large tortie trying destroy it. It is smelly (of catnip) so it easily entices when they walk by and are feeling fiesty. No, it doesnt fill the room with the smell. Just normal, like the cigars you buy. It's quite large so I do see it lasting many years before having to replace due to the catnip not smelling much anymore! Buy it - especially if you have your own little fuzzy named Ryuk :)

Sue Gallop: My eldest cat's favorite toy. She loves the scent, she loves to kick it and she loves to watch it wobble as it rolls. I have bought this toy for her several times. The toy seems to last well for about 2 years of almost constant play, but after a while, to me, toys look a little worn and maybe dirty. When she slows down with the old one, I order a new one and the new one becomes her new favorite. She also likes the lemon, but the apple is her favorite.

Serena: My cats have previously had the rainbow and the banana Yeowww! catnip toys, (they prefer the rainbow but love the banana too) so I already knew the brand made a good product. We decided to buy them them the apple to try out a different shape.
When the apple arrived, I took it out of the box and left it in the plastic bag on our table. I planned to give it to them after dinner. One of our cats, who is elderly and does not jump, sniffed it out, somehow got it down, and chewed it out of the bag while I was getting their food ready. I took the plastic away immediately of course and gave them the apple to do with as they pleased. They squabbled over it for awhile, but seemed to settle into a rhythm of sniffing, getting high, and rolling around while the other had their turn. Our other cat went on a bender for 2 days and I did not see her unless I went to the apple. I guess I would say...I am pleased with this purchase?

I placed an order yesterday for quite a few cat toys (some by Yeowww) and a gorgeous cat Christmas stocking, which was for my baby girl Molly (3yrs old and sweet and gentle) and the box arrived an hour ago.
So I opened it in the kitchen on the counter. Carefully taking out the toys aimed for the Christmas stocking all of a sudden 2 cats flew into the kitchen. They were fast asleep in front of the fire when I went into the kitchen. Granted, Molly does have a thing about boxes and she is always in situ when they arrive. I have to empty them and give her the boxes.
Nash was up on the counter as I am desperately trying to get the toys into the stocking, to hide in a cupboard until Christmas. All hell broke loose when he just got near the Yeowww Apple Cat Toy. He literally pushed me away, growling at me and stole it! A mild scuffle then occurred between me and Nash (no animals were hurt in the making of this movie, as they say!!) and I got it off him. Him climbing my legs, all 2 stone of black Panther like cat! as I’m trying to cut the tag off the toy. Then Molly...

I was looking for potent catnip toys, and seem to have found a good brand.
I got this for my friend's cat, Sage. Sage is a monster moose. He's a HUGE fat black cat who enjoys wrassling with my friend and sometimes indulging in catnip toys between a thriving career in laziness. All the past catnip toys have long since been destroyed by fang and claw, or lost their smell. I figured a bigger sized, more potent catnip toy would be a good gift.
Well, it's going to be a Christmas present, so I can't share Sage's reaction just yet. But when I opened my newest mountain of deliveries (I order a LOT of gifts for friends etc every year at the holidays), this was in a sealed plastic bag inside one big box with other items.
I have a cat, too. Kikira is an average sized tortoiseshell princess who tends to be indifferent to catnip; mostly interested in batting small toys around the house and tossing them in the air.
