K: It's a bit Rocky when you're standing on it definitely gets a bit questionable when fully extended but I have to give it props for being pretty tough I only use it every so often but I exceed the weight limit on it and it holds up I would recommend caution though because the only thing that keeps it from collapsing down is plastic and it doesn't always want to snap in place but overall it's a good ladder it's easy enough to transport if it breaks I will definitely consider buying another one I would just recommend you know messing around with it before you actually need it so you have a good feel for it

Curtis Sharp: I’ve used other telescoping ladders. I chose this one because of the outriggers on the bottom to provide more stability, as it is an issue with this style of ladder. The way this ladder is designed to collapse and engage is poor quality. It does not always lock in place, even after robust use of power to do so. The ladder is too heavy, due to use of cheaper materials. For the price, there are better value similar products.
Update: Ladder snapped while I was about 5 feet up on it. I am not a big guy. One day shy of a year old. Used the ladder less than ten times.

Kent: Works as described and seems sturdy, however, it may be too heavy for some to carry. Nevertheless, this product is recommended.

vbbon: The only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board is that in designing the feet for increased stability, they did not make the feet so they could fold across each other or completely to the center. This results in a bit of awkwardness when the ladder is stowed away because one foot must sit on top of the other. I appreciate the extra safety over the last model but seems like they could improve the foot design for compactness. We use these ladders for access to semi trailers and folding up compactly for travel is an issue. In your hall closet, it most likely wouldn't be a bother.

JimBobWay: Very solidly made. A bit heavy to haul around despite it’s compactness. You can adjust to any height you want with the remaining rungs on top. Move them up until the rung you want is red. Mostly red? Move them up another notch. Then it is. Always up one more than rung you think you need.
This ladder is more versatile than some users.
Function is great, small enough so you can bring indoors to hang things or change bulbs without marking up walls or cleaning off coffee table.

Dennis J.: Overall, very good. It is a bit heavy for manipulation, but I wanted a ladder with Load capacity. It is fairly stable, though I noticed it wiggles a little at the small end , but so did my 25' aluminum extension ladder, which I had for many years, but wanted something more compact, this is it. I liked the lower stabilizing feet, which swing out and click in position to give more lateral stability. But, they do not return completely, one will lock into place, but the other one cannot, pick one. It would be nice if they both got out of the way for storage. The included directions were OK, but did not explain that the screws used to secure the swing out feet were for shipping. But who reads instructions?

Ken Waldron: I’m using to access the roof of my travel trailer. I gave it four stars for sturdiness as the latches can be a bit persnickety at times. But once up they do hold.

D and Q: The compact design is great for storage. Ladder is really only good for light duty work because you lack the sure footing of other ladders. It’s good for around the house things.
I had to fix the foot extensions. The design to engage and lock the door extension is not well designed.
I might keep the ladder because of my limited space and the ladder’s portability.

Stewart: I used the ladder for a couple of months and didn't have to much trouble with it.
2 days ago i was extending the ladder and it completely separated into 2 pieces and won't go back together.
It is broken and now useless to me.
I should have trusted the reviews i had read on amazon about this.
If you buy this ladder you can expect it to break in a short time like mine did.
Your better off buying a ladder that costs a little and will last you.
