Mihalis in Kansas: The paste does appear to work when you can manage to get it both out of the tube and to stay on the car's paw. It's extremely thick and extremely dry. I'm not a bit exaggerating when I saw that I had to use both hands with full pressure down on the tube while it was flat on the table to get it out to use. It's almost like it had dried up in the tube. Perhaps, it did. In any case, I kept wondering how a frail and elderly cat owner could get it out of the tube. It's not going to happen. The next issue was getting this very dry paste to stay on my cat's paws. It did not stay and the moment she shook her paw, (sensing it on her paw), most would just fly off. I had to seriously press hard on her paws to get it to stick much at all. My cat did not like that, but thankfully, I've had her 15 of her 17 years, so she trusts me and NEVER tries to bite or scratch me when I "apply" this paste. I hope you are so lucky. In all honesty, I ended up sneaking some on the side of her coat and, although it is clumpy and makes her fur nasty, she does lick it off. andyg: TLDR: Nutri-Vet Uri-Ease UTI is a really good supplement - however we needed to add "In Clover Flow UT Health in Cats" for our kitty to finally stop getting chronic UTIs. Our British shorthair cat with chronic UTIs and a sensitive stomach loves both of these "treats," and hasn't had any UTI symptoms for the past 6 months! She used to never drink water, but now loves to drink from her water bowl at least 3x per day; also, she has become a little less overweight, which is a great thing for her health too!

FULL STORY: We have a lovely British short-haired cat who has always been slightly chubby. She is a very picky eater with a very sensitive stomach. Most importantly - she never drank from her water bowl and had a difficult time cleaning herself after using the little box (again, she's a little bit chubby). About a year ago she developed her first UTI. We called the vet, who then put her on antibiotics and gave her fluids. For one month, she was fine, but then had UTI symptoms again. nailartShookme: Sorry, I cannot recommend this product. I can’t tell that it did anything to help my cat’s UT issues. She still has to take VetriScience UT Strength Pro for felines. I only give this every couple of days since she is also given apple cider vinegar every day. You could use the VetriScience supplement every day alone. It is a bit expensive. But, it works, if you can afford it. If she doesn’t get the ACV or the supplement, she begins to get crystals in her urine and can’t urinate properly, which causes pain and blood in the urine. I can actually see a pink tincture to her urine when she is having problems urinating. She does not get UT infections, she gets UT inflammation. This product does not do much of anything to reduce urinary tract inflammation or crystals in her urine. As far as taste, I had to actually start putting it on her mouth every time. She always tries to turn her head away at first. She doesn’t really want to eat it. But, she gives in and licks it off my finger. She never has cared a lot for salmon favor cat food either.
